Initially they got more than 300 votes, but 100+ Congressmen changed their votes in the last few minutes. They failed to get the 288 (2/3rds) votes to fast-track the unconstitutional Bill of Attainder.

This isn't a defeat of the measure per se. Just a defeat of the attempt to fast-track it

He's back, defending the grotesque joke of having a dedicated leftwing partisan voter-fraud organization"helping" with the Census.

I was wondering why I was getting hits for Cool Facts About Scott Levenson.

Levenson dodges the question of whether ACORN will be knocking on doors and filling out census forms.

"Mob Tactics:" I was trying to get on a conference call about this earlier, but I had technical problems.

A lawyer for a whistleblower on the activist group ACORN is prepared to tell a House panel Thursday that the group provided liberal causes with protest-for-hire services and coerced donations from the targets of demonstrations through a mob-style "protection" racket.

ACORN called it the "muscle for the money" program, according to prepared testimony Pittsburgh lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh plans to deliver at a hearing of the House Judiciary subcommittee on the Constitution, civil rights and civil liberties.

A copy of her prepared testimony was obtained by The Washington Times.

The protest shakedowns are among a slew of accusations that Ms. Heidelbaugh intends to make against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. She also will accuse the nonprofit group of violating tax, campaign-finance and other laws by sharing a list of President Obama's maxed-out campaign donors to solicit more funds for a get-out-the-vote drive.

The accusations, which are based entirely on sworn court testimony late last year by ACORN whistleblower Anita Moncrief, range from unlawfully coordinating campaign activity with Mr. Obama's presidential campaign to deliberately engaging in voter-registration fraud and misusing federal grant money.

Hank Morris and David Loglisci were arrested and arraigned this morning in a Manhattan court on 123 counts of enterprise corruption and other felonies.

Prosecutors allege the two engaged in a three-year criminal enterprise to pocket more than $35 million in middleman fees.

They are the first to be charged in a case that took nearly two years to uncover.

State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's office investigated whether financial firms were using politically-connected consultants in an effort to get business with the state pension fund.

You can't even keep up with it anymore. Even our patriotic statesmen in Congress share Obama's feeling of being overwhelmed. Regarding the news that 13 firms receiving bailout money owe back taxes...

"This is shameful. It is a disgrace," said Lewis, a Georgia Democrat. "We are going to get to the bottom of what is going on here."

By all means let's continue rushing huge trillion-dollar measures through Congress without debate. We can always "get to the bottom of what is going on here" later.

I should say up front that Rush Limbaugh is not my kind of guy. He sometimes speaks from notes, and often off the top of his head. If he really wants to impress the electronics community, he ought to spend some time learning how to use me. Then maybe folks would take him a bit more seriously.
