BUMPED for Monday Morning in case anybody missed it. You have to see this. The video shows us that this vote presented absolutely no abortion dilemma for Stupak. His holding back, then flipping at the last minute appears to be just theater to make it look to his constituents as if he were really conflicted.

Is there nothing ObamaCare™ can't do? If it can turn frothing at the mouth uber-bull Jim Cramer instantly into a bear ominously whispering sweet nothings of "double dip" into our ears, we have truly witnessed a miracle. Perhaps Obama really is the messiah who can work miracles?

...the president will get a second wind. That means the whole agenda -- cap-and-trade, Card Check for easier organizing (...) and amnesty for immigrants who are currently not citizens -- will quickly come to pass, perhaps even before the election. To pay for these items I see a dramatic increase in ordinary tax rates and perhaps capital gains and dividend tax rates in 2011 either reaching or exceeding those ordinary income rates as this current version of the Democratic Party believes that only rich people own stocks....

Tonight, the health care "reform" bill passed with an incredibly narrow margin. This may be the first time in American history that a bill of such import has passed without any bipartisan support. The only reason the bill passed was because supposedly pro-life representative Bart Stupak and members of his coalition made a meaningless deal with the most pro-abortion president in modern history.

Honestly, I'm not really all that surprised that Stupak sold out. I'm just amazed that his price was so low.

Don't know if he's a Democrat or Republican but this is the guy a lot of people are gravitating towards to beat Stupak. He doesn't even have a website yet, just a Facebook page with PayPal link.

Here's a bit of his bio.

I have never held political office but I feel compelled to seek a position at this time because of disturbing developments in our nationÂ’s capitol. I have watched with horror and disbelief as congress has voted to spend trillions of dollars on legislation that no one even read. I very much want to serve my country and the citizens of the 1st District and to provide better representation and leadership on important issues such as:

· Secure Borders. Immigration must be legal and regulated and our borders must be secure. Uncontrolled access to our country increases entitlement expenses, decreases available jobs and renders us vulnerable to terrorists who want to destroy us.

· Health Care. America has the best health care system in the world – a system which needs fine-tuning but definitely not a government take-over! We need to focus on free market reforms which will increase competition and decrease costs. A good place to start would be to allow health care insurance to be tax deductible, portable and sold across state lines. Additionally, we must pass tort reform to rein in skyrocketing costs associated with frivolous medical law suits.

He'll be followed by soon to be ex-Speaker Pelosi.

Boehner wants to do the vote as a roll call. Not going to happen because it would be a great TV spot for Republicans.

The vote won't start until around 10:30 or so. Let's see, late on a Sunday night? Yeah, that's when thieves do their work.

Hmmmmm....will GOP use their Motion to Recommit to force a vote on the text of Obama's executive order?

10 Fight Scenes That You Can Watch Over And Over
All of these are pretty good scenes and still fun to watch including even the completely unnecessary fight in They Live. But of all of these my favorite is still the bar fight in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Mostly for the choreography and the music and editing. Plus I just enjoy watching bad people get cut up with sharp things. Not quite as much as seeing them blown up but it's still pretty damn good.

Not sure if this is the easiest course of action, but there's a good shot of rounding up 2/3rds of state legislatures. Half are in the bag; it's the last 8 that will be tough.

Of course, there is one additional way for states to win a fight about the constitutionality of health-care legislation: Make it unconstitutional. Article V of the Constitution gives state legislatures the power to require Congress to convene a convention to propose an amendment to the Constitution. If two-thirds of state legislatures demand an amendment barring the federal regulation of health insurance or an individual mandate, Congress would be constitutionally bound to hold a convention. Something like this happened in 1933 when Congress proposed and two-thirds of the states ratified the 21st Amendment, removing from the Constitution the federal power to prohibit the manufacture, sale and transportation of alcohol. But the very threat of an amendment convention would probably induce Congress to repeal the bill.

It makes your average Hail Mary play at the end of the game look like a sure thing but it's the last bullet in the chamber.

After the bill passes the minority has the right to offer a Motion to Recommit with instructions.

Republicans might offer the original Stupak language as their instructions.

During his press conference, Stupak said that he would be inclined to support a motion to recommit containing only his abortion amendment.

"Just that? Boy that'd be a great day, wouldn't it?" Stupak said.

Speaking to The Hill after that press conference, Stupak said he won't necessarily make the argument that Democrats should reject a Republican motion consisting of just his abortion language.

“I don't know if I'll make the argument [to vote it down], but we'll do the colloquy to clarify our intent, the executive order that Hyde applied,” he said.

The Michigan Democrat admitted that the outcome of that vote would be uncertain.

"But we think that most of the members who stood with me throughout this whole process will also vote against the motion to recommit."

Some Democrats think Republicans will include elements of their healthcare alternative in their motion to recommit the Senate bill.

“If it's a completely stand-alone Stupak with nothing else on it, that would be great," said Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper (D-Penn.), one of the Democrats who is supporting healthcare legislation because of the Stupak deal. “But I believe that there will be other things in the package.”

"I do not believe that they will just put out the Stupak language, because that probably wouldn't serve the other side's purpose," Dahlkemper said.

A Motion to Recommit, if it passed would kill the bill. It would force another vote on the floor to pass it again with the added language and Nancy might not bring it to the floor. Even if it did come back, it would have to go to the Senate with the new language and die there.

I don't know what the 'other' stuff the Republicans might offer would be but it's probably their health care proposals. Why bother with that when it's a sure loser? The Stupak amendment and nothing else would put him and the people who were with him today in an awful tight spot.

If they were willing to sell themselves so cheaply before, they'd probably stay bought but what the hell it's worth a shot.
