Now I know that many of you "teabagging haters" probably have the "warm and fuzzies" about Kent State University. After all, it's not every campus that secured a place in history by gunning down hippies.

Sadly, though, those glorious days are long gone. Now it appears that Kent State is, allegedly, little more than a breeding ground for sexual deviants with a hard-on for Islam and a fetish for suicide bombers. Kinky, Kent State, Kinky!

I have to admit...articles like the one Mike Adams wrote in Townhall today are among my favorite contributions to the blogosphere: the snarky e-mail exchange. I blame my early exposure to Don Novello's (Father Guido Sarducci of SNL fame) book "The Lazlo Letters". Since I first read it, I've been a sucker for this kind of stuff.

Which is appropriate, since that's pretty much what I do here. You think I bother to read your comments? I know what I think. Why do I need to know what you think? (Just joking...I'm just auditioning in case there is an opening at Kent State in the immediate future.)

Nevertheless, Adams has a tale to tell about his run-in with one Dr. Julio Pino of Kent State University, a man who, in his own words, appears to hold bloggers' elderly mothers in extremely high regard.

Did I say "in extremely high regard"? I meant "as objects of deviant sexual attraction."

Dolphinf*cker: The Book

Okay so back in 1971 Malcolm Brenner had a 9 month sexual affair with an amusement park dolphin (female I assumehope) which really ought to mark a shameful low point in anyone's life. However he was so taken with his experience that he eventually wrote a book about it, Wet Goddess: Recollections Of A Dolphin Lover. And according to him (based on a sample size of one) dolphins are passionate, clingy, and require 24/7 attention.

Brenner met the sea seductress while taking photos of Ruby for a Florida [OF COURSE] amusement park and things escalated from there. He says the dolphin would nuzzle, flirt, and dance for him in the water, making it known that she wanted something more than friendship. The constant “come-ons” led Brenner to look at Ruby as a person. At the dolphin’s suggestion they got physical and engaged in sex, an experience he calls “phenomenal.”

Just said on Hannity, and Morris says it's a story he never told before.

He says Clinton did not want to reappoint Reno to a second four-year term, but felt he had to, or else she would "tell the truth about him and Waco."

Hannity questioned him about this and Morris then walked it back a bit, dropping the "tell the truth" part in favor of saying he had to reappoint her or she would "turn on him" over Waco.

He says he doesn't know what Clinton meant by that.

Daniel Gross is supposedly an economic analyst. Oddly, it seems that his analysis is monodimensial. The only variable in all his equations is whether there's a Republican or Democratic president.

If there's a Republican President, huge spikes in GDP growth rate mean absolutely nothing. Bush's 2003 big-growth quarter of 6.9% did not herald a recovery, he proclaimed. (In fact, that's precisely what it heralded.)

If there's a Democratic President, of course...

Of course, he's been peddling this line for some time. He's basically made a little niche for himself by spinning warm and comfy cocoons for his liberal readership, assuring them that the economy is doing just fine (despite a 20% real unemployment rate -- far worse than the one he found nearly apocalyptic under Bush) and that Democrats could probably even win the elections in November, because the economy will be so hot by then the whole country will have ObamaFever.

By the way, this little pudgebunny faegela also calls people he doesn't like "teabaggers," and then, when called upon it, claim he and David Shuster (David Shuster!) have a different meaning for the word and certainly don't mean any offense.

Oh: There's nothing wrong with Gross saying the same thing over and over. Hey, one could call it consistency.

The humorousness of it comes from the fact that every time he writes the same damn thing, the liberal media widely publicizes as if it's new.

It's not new, of course. He keeps saying the same thing. The problem, of course, is that no one believes him, so the media keeps pushing this as if Now we're in a full-blown recovery, hoping that if they repeat it enough the public will buy into it and the Democrats will prosper.

Plus -- hey, one of these times, hey, he's got to be right, right?

Here's my own analysis: This story will be forgotten again in two more months of soul-grinding unemployment and he'll write the same story again in June, and the media will once again proclaim Now we're having a serious recovery.

And this will go on and on until November.

I think this is the Democrats' real Waterloo. They are going insane as they watch their precious power about to be taken from them -- possibly, for several generations to come.

They are the ones, in fact, whose "rational abilities" have become "compromised," as they lash out with infantile venom at the voters.

This is a meltdown, and I just get angrier and angrier -- and more and more optimistic -- as they vent seething hatred and vile condescension at the voters who will decide their political fates in just five months and a couple of weeks.

Joe ("Who?") Klein just decided that dissent was no longer the highest form of patriotism, but instead "borderline sedition," and it was no ill-considered slip of the tongue; he's said it before at least twice.

I had been mulling an essay on that all day, which I'll write later, but I suppose I have to put it up now rather than waiting for the essay.

I will just say that liberals will not be able to sell the "dissent is the highest form of patriotism" line when they are the opposition party, frozen out from all branches of government, in January 2013. I personally intend to accuse them of sedition and a lack of patriotism on a daily basis, and when they whine (as they always do) I will cite back to them the expansive definitions of "sedition" and "treason" they employed from January 2009 to January 2013.

Is it sedition to strenuously argue against a party in power? Well, good to know, considering that Republicans/conservatives/Tea Partiers are poised to sweep Congress (both houses, possibly) in January 2011.

Are you sure you can't criticize the party in power, Joe? Are you certain of that? I hope you are, because you are then destined to become an enemy of the state in five months and two weeks.

It's good to know that Joe Klein will set aside his own hateful rhetoric at that time. On penalty of jailing should he refuse to do so.

I kid. I kid. Dude's name is really Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot. He actually set a record for today's event, by completing the 26 mile run in 2 hours, 5 minutes and 52 seconds.

What I liked best about this story (aside from the easy Obama/Kenya joke) is the following passage detailing what Mr. Cheruiyot plans on doing now that he has won.

Cheruiyot, 21, surpassed the course record of 2:07:14 set by his namesake in 2006, when he was 27. A farmer back home, the younger Cheruiyot earned a bonus of US$25,000 on top of the $150,000 -- and a golden olive wreath from the city of Marathon, Greece -- that goes the men's and women's winners.

"I am going to buy some cows," Cheruiyot said.

In an increasingly volatile economic environment, I believe that the purchase of cows (a steady supply of meat and milk) represents a well thought out investment with a likely return on investment that will exceed the initial cost.

Which is really how I know that Barack Obama didn't win the Boston Marathon.

The film? Hobo With a Shotgun. A more nightmarish, satanic dystopia I cannot conceive of.

If that title sounds familiar, it's because it was originally a short, a spoof ad for a movie that didn't exist, made in a competition promoted by the Grindhouse guys.

But Hollywood, sick as it is, couldn't leave well enough alone, and now they're actually filming the movie.

Over the weekend I wrote that Obama is lying about the permanent bailouts in the Dodd financial reform bill. He and the Democrats have been hammering the message that they oppose bailouts and would never, never put them in the financial reform package. This was a case of "Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?", but Democrats kept at it all weekend and this morning.

Brad Sherman, a California Democrat whose district includes much of L.A. County, apparently didn't get the memo:

We can say, “No taxpayer money to Wall Street firms, their creditors and the counterparts.” Then we go to the voters and tell them there’s no money for Wall Street, but regulation instead. If you can’t run on that slogan, you’ve got a problem.

But there are serious problems with the Dodd bill. The Dodd bill has unlimited executive bailout authority. ThatÂ’s something Wall Street desperately wants but doesnÂ’t dare ask for. The bill contains permanent, unlimited bailout authority.

The classic Washington blunder: he messed up by telling the truth.

Well, if he can create seven million new jobs by merely "fixing" a bar graph, I can't wait 'till he rolls up his sleeves and gets down to fixing the real engine of American prosperity-- pie charts!!!

Long story short: There are only 129.7 million jobs in America right now, a huge fall from previous levels.

But Obama wants to claim that he's "saved or created" jobs. Hard to do when you're starting out with net-negative numbers.

His previous estimate was that there would be 133.9 million jobs without the stimulus, and the stimulus would add jobs on to the baseline.

But... 129.7 is less than 133.9, so it looks like the stimulus cost us jobs, rather than "saving or creating" them.

No sweat -- just change the estimate of the number of jobs we'd have without the stimulus.

And the math is not that hard. Obama wants to claim that he "saved or created" 2.8 million jobs, so he just subtracts 2.8 million from our current tally of 128.7 and now says that without the stimulus we'd have had 126.9 million jobs.

By simply changing his initial baseline of 133.9 million to 126.9 million -- just magicking away 7 million jobs -- Obama gets to pretend he's "saved or created" 2.8 million jobs.

But this is silly; the media will never let him get away with such childish and obvious manipulations.

Oh, sorry, guess I took off longer than I thought, to have written a sentence such as that.
