Right, they've got Barack Obama willing to hide out for 100 days like a fugitive.

What is important to note here is that Zinn evidently joined the Kremlin-controlled CPUSA not during the “Popular Front” era of the 1930s — when many idealists were seduced — but after the 1939 Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact in which Stalin cruelly and cynically sacrificed Poland to the Nazis. Zinn was a card-carrying Commie who advocated Marxism-Leninism after the Red Army’s ”Iron Curtain” occupation of Eastern Europe, after the treachery of the Rosenbergs and Alger Hiss had been revealed, and even during the height of Stalin’s anti-Semitic “Doctors’ Plot” purge!

Revered on the Left, of course, and they deny all of this. They know it's true, but of course they publicly deny it.

Mustn't let people get the right idea.

I guess this is what she's supposed to be saying.

Meanwhile, Obama re-grades himself, and gives himself the grade he should have given himself the first time.

Last time he gave himself an "A." Oh I know -- he said "B+." But you know what a B+ means. A B+ means "I think I deserve an A for Awesomeness but I want to pretend to be modest and also signal that I'm not content with my awesome performance so far, even though it's awesome, and feel the need to do additional feats of awesomehood."

This time, he says his grade is "incomplete."

Now, where I come from, an "incomplete" is actually an F that could be converted into some other grade, depending on performance; but if no better performance is forthcoming, it resolves into a Failure.

That sounds about right to me.

It's still too early to judge his administration, President Barack Obama says.

That's a lie -- he doesn't believe Americans have that right. I know that because whenever Americans express that anger and frustration, his surrogates in the liberal media can't wait to call them racist.

I haven't had much time to read in the past week, but I did pick up another set of Isaac Asimov's Foundation novels for my Kindle. I was also looking for the original "Robot" books (The Naked Sun and Caves of Steel) with Lije Bailey and R. Daneel Olivaw, but it doesn't look like they're out for the Kindle yet.

Speaking of the Kindle, Amazon just released a Wi-Fi only model for $139.00.

Anyway, that's all I've got for this week, Morons. What are y'all reading?

Wordpress is down right now. So all your Wordpress blogs are offline until somebody over there finds the electrical tape and paperclips.

I'm not going to tell you how Ace did it. But let's just say that 1) he went on a bender last night and 2) a sharpened hobo femur makes a pretty good prybar but it's a terrible conductor.
