HereÂ’s how the actual conversation went down:

Zimmerman: This guy looks like heÂ’s up to no good. Or heÂ’s on drugs or something. ItÂ’s raining and heÂ’s just walking around, looking about.
Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?

Zimmerman: He looks black.

So, they've made a public statement that they're trying to find out how this happened.

They could just ask me. Or you. But those are bad options as we'd tell them what actually happened. And they don't want that. They just want it noted that, Gee Willickers, they're doing their level best to solve this mystery.

Remember all the stories claiming George Zimmerman was 220 pounds? Or "at least 240 pounds?" Among the many narratives being pushed here was that the 6'2" Trayvon Martin was an Emo Waif and the 5'7" Zimmerman was a brutish hulk.

Well, Just One Minute has caught the NYT in a rare slip-up, caught red-handed committing actual journalism. According to their newest report, Zimmerman is not 220 or 240 pounds, but... 170.

Obama Campaign Demands Romney's Tax Returns From the '80s

Sure the IRS can only go back a mere 7 years, but this is the Light Worker and he will audit your life.

President Obama's re-election campaign is calling on Mitt Romney to release his tax returns dating back to the 1980s, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Meanwhile Doug Ross points out that Obama has yet to release any of the following:

1. Tax returns from the 80's
2. Tax returns from the 90's
3. Occidental College records and transcripts
4. Columbia University records and transcripts
5. Columbia Thesis paper
6. Harvard University records and transcripts
7. Medical records
8. Illinois State Senate schedule
9. Illinois State Senate records
10. Law practice client list
11. Certified Copy of Original Birth certificate
12. Harvard Law Review articles published
13. University of Chicago scholarly articles
14. Record of Baptism

Of course given his job performance over the last 4 years and other revelations I think we can all pretty much fill in the blanks on these.

And it's not that he got into a personal spat with one of the only guys in Hollywood interested in giving him a check.

According to Deadline.com, Chase walked off the set on the last day of filming for one of his crucial scenes, which incited Harmon to roast the actor at the show’s wrap party — in front of Chase’s wife and daughter.

Harmon even encouraged the rest of the crew to join in a chant of “f— you” toward Chase, the site reports.

In response, the comedian left Harmon a fiery voicemail, calling the creator, among other things, “fat” and “an alcoholic.”

“I don’t get talked to like that by anyone. Certainly not in front of my wife and daughter you goddamn a—,” Chase ranted in a clip leaked online. “I’ve got nothing to say to you, except you can s— my c—. Is that clear?"

I'm pretty sure the walk-off was Chase's fault, but it's not even that.

It's this:

“I don’t think I’ll be back on this show again, frankly, between you and me,” he told the Huffington Post. “Depends on what happens. ... This is the only time I’ve ever had to act every week in the same clothes and as the same character, and I don’t find it particularly enlightening.

“It’s not teaching anybody anything.”

I liked Foul Play okay, but what was that supposed to teach me?

I'm pretty sure National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation didn't teach me anything.

Yeah shut up with your vagisil jokes. All of these chicks could kick your ass on the court and you know it. Especially this one, hell, I think she could whip your ass on or off the court.

First up, UConn and Notre Dame, 6:30 EDT. I would love for UConn to pull a win just to see em up against the Bears in the final game. But UConn has dropped two to ND, and also losses to St. Johns and Baylor.

Second up, Baylor and Stanford. Stanford only has one loss this season, to UConn. This is one of those "pre-championship championship" games and it oughta be a killah.

*full disclosure* Dave in Texas was kicked out of Baylor but I don't hold a grudge. I'm nice like that.

The Italian Supreme Court upheld a sentence for aggravated abuse and assault against a Muslim father who "corrected" his twelve year old daughter with a broomstick.

Defense lawyers maintained that the father, who allegedly beat his daughter with a broom handle for "corrective" purposes after she could not properly recite the Koran, did so because of "cultural" reasons and should be given a lighter sentence accordingly.

The court said the beating would be unjustifiable whether from Italians or foreigners.

Coulter suggested Romney pick someone like New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie or Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.

"Because the same people who loved Rubio loved Perry?"

So now CBS has an interview with the funeral director who handled Trayvon's body.

The Florida funeral director who handled the burial of Trayvon Martin says there were no signs of a scuffle on the dead teen, contradicting the story of the man who claimed he killed Martin during a violent scuffle. Martin died of a gunshot, the only apparent injury says the funeral director.

Call me crazy - actually, call me racist - but doesn't this description pretty much support what Zimmerman said: He was attacked, knocked down w/ one punch and then the attack continued by pounding Zimmerman's head into the sidewalk?

It supports the idea that he could have legitimately feared for his life if he was so unable to physically respond to the attack. It suggests that he never initiated physical contact with Trayvon.

The MSM is so intent on the narrative and so blind to the possibility that Trayvon may have been the aggressor that they don't even understand their own reporting adds weight to Zimmerman's claims.

That's our MSM. Have agenda, will "Furnish the War".

Good morning, morons. I had it in my mind earlier in the week to write a comment or two about Saul Alinsky for this thread, but Ace beat me to it earlier in the week. The John Fund article Ace linked to is quite good. I did not know that Alinsky was mobbed up pretty good. But should anyone be surprised? After all, isn't the mob just another kind of community organizer?

Left-wing politics is, as we all know, not about "helping the little guy", but rather extracting money from people and groups that progressives do not like and giving it to those they do. Now somebody please tell me how there's a dime's worth of difference between that and the mob's various business and protection rackets.

Anyway, here are all thirteen of Alinsky'a rules for radicals, from the book:

1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.

2. Never go outside the experience of your people.

3. Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy.

4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.

5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.

6. A good tactic is one your people enjoy.

7. A tactic that drags on too long is a drag.

8. Keep the pressure on.

9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counter side.

12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize and polarize it.

And there they are.

Of course, one wonders what an old school commie agitator like Alinsky would have thought of the tactics of Andrew Breitbart and James O'Keefe?. Would he have smiled ruefully at the unexpected irony of his political enemies using his own tools against him?

Nah.

I'd bet he would've cried like a little girl, "Nuh uh, you can't do that, that's not fair."

You can easily find 'Rules for Radicals' as a torrent download. The book makes for interesting reading in a 'know your enemy' kind of way.
