Part 2 of Project Veritas CNN Sting: Covid Brought Us Big Ratings, We Want The Death Toll to Go Higher and Higher
— Ace

He also reveals that there's "a special red phone" that Jeff Zucker calls on to tell "reporters" that their reports aren't salacious, upsetting, and clickbaity enough to "make me want to stick [watching the network]."

Obviously this is Zucker's order to add in some rabid partisan chum.

Biden's Plan to Propagandize About Vaccines to White Christians? Run Ads During NASCAR and The Deadliest Catch
— Ace

The Corrupt Fraudster is such a man of the people.

He really gets us, you know?

NASCAR, country music television, "Deadliest Catch” — these are some of the ways the Biden administration is trying to reach out to groups unwilling to take the COVID-19 vaccine, including "white conservative communities,” according to White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

"We’re looking for a range of creative ways to get directly connected to white conservative communities. We won’t always be the best messengers, but we’re still trying to meet people where they are but also empower local organizations,”PsakisaidTuesday at a White House news briefing.

Earlier, Jen Pstupid stammered and stumbled when she was asked if Biden's own Mask Theater -- he and his senior staff all wearing masks despite being vaccinated with Trump's Medicine -- was itself contributing to people's skepticism about the efficacy of the vaccine.

But the message on what "getting back to normal” officially means per the CDC has not always been made clear by Biden and other administration officials including Vice President Harris, Psaki, and others. And today, during the White House press briefing, Jen Psaki accidentally stumbled upon the truth of the matter when asked whether or not they believed that Biden, Harris, and others wearing masks even after being vaccinated was contributing to vaccine hesitancy among some.

"We recognize we’re not always the best messengers,” Psaki stated before launching off into a spintastic explainer as to what they were doing to try and combat vaccine hesitancy, including by trying to "model public health [CDC] guidelines.”

The Morning Rant 04-14-2021 [OregonMuse]
— Ace Open Blog

An Open Letter

To: Saturday Night Live

cc: Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, John Oliver, Jimmy Fallon, Samantha Bee, Stephen Colbert, etc.

So here is a story about one of the founds of Black Lives Matter, Patrisse Khan-Cullors, has made some rather eye-opening real estate purchases. Apparently, she
...went on a real estate buying binge, snagging four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone, according to property records.

[She] also eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods both have homes...Luxury apartments and townhouses at the beachfront Albany resort outside Nassau are priced between $5 million and $20 million, according to a local agent.

[She also] last month purchased a $1.4 million home on a secluded road a short drive from Malibu in Los Angeles, according to a report...The Topanga Canyon homestead, which includes two houses on a quarter-acre, is just one of three homes Khan-Cullors owns in the Los Angeles area, public records show.
You guys do political comedy, right? You guys like going after the rich and famous, right? You guys pride yourself on speaking truth to power, right? Well then, I can't figure out why none of you have yet to mention this. I mean, just look at it: a social justice activist, a self-described Marxist, has just spent millions of dollars on real estate, and not only that, most of them are in neighborhoods you guys would no doubt describe as "lily-white" if the buyer here was, say, Tucker Carlson or Ivanka Trump.

This a double bacon cheeseburger of hypocrisy here. While claiming to be all about social justice and against oppression, when presented with the opportunity, Khan-Cullors chooses to spend her money just like the oppressor class.

Isn't that rich? I mean, SHE'S certainly rich. But the situation she has put herself in, how ripe for comedy is that? Of course, BLM denies that they're paying her any kind of a salary, which makes you wonder where she's getting her money from, but that's something for another day. The point is, can't you see what you've got here? This is not a big, fat, slow hanging curve ball lazily drifting across the plate with a "HIT ME!" sticky-note attached to it, it's even better. It's a big plastic whiffle ball propped up in one of those T-ball stands, not moving, just sitting there, all fat and juicy, waiting for one of your writers to step right up and knock it out of the park.

Because you're all about showing how stunning and brave you are, right? Bold, fearless comedy that challenges dominant power structures and subverts our expectations, right? Oh, and I almost forgot, transgresses traditional boundaries. Did I do that right? I don't speak the language naturally, but hopefully this makes sense.

So I can't wait to see what you do with this, as pulling the rug out from wealthy, privileged, hypocritical entitled loudmouths is what you like to do. Because, as her real estate buying binge shows, it would be harder to find a more wealthy, privileged, hypocritical entitled loudmouth than Ms. Patrisse Khan-Cullors.

Right?

Very Truly Yours,

GorillaPundit

PS -- If you're having trouble coming up with anything to make fun of, just think of how you'd be reacting if this were Ron DeSantis or Marjorie Taylor Green. I think you'd find enough material to last for several weeks at least.

The Morning Report - 4/14/21 [J.J. Sefton]
— Ace Open Blog

culler

Good morning kids. Midweek and as the situation with Minnesota's Twins - Daunte Wright and the Derek Chauvin show trial - heats up, word has come down that the officer who shot criminal, drug dealing, lowlife thug choir boy and National Merit Scholarship Winner Jacob Blake and left him paralyzed, was cleared of any wrongdoing and is set to return to active duty in Kenosha, WI. I don't think there's anything left to burn there, but I'm sure BLaM-tifa can easily pivot from buildings to any people (if there are any left) in Dairy State Dresden, the ingenious little darlings. Yet, one has to wonder what goes through the half dozen or so normal brain cells of the average clenched-fist-raising thug when [pronoun] sees [pronoun's] glorious movement devolving into a racket. It sure seems to be rubbing key functionary Obersturmban-bro Hawk Newsome the wrong way:

"If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes,” he told the Post. "It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement.”

Gee, ya think?

BLM has been raking in the cash to further the cause of black America while Khan-Cullors, BLM’s cofounder and a self-proclaimed Marxist, dropped millions to live with white people. According to the Post, her most recent purchase was a "custom ranch” in Georgia that sits on "3.2 rural acres” and features a "private airplane hangar with a studio apartment above it[.]”...

...Call yourself a Marxist, launch a cause, encourage your followers to destroy their own neighborhoods, take in billions from suckers and sucker-corporations, and then go buy yourself four homes, three in predominantly white neighborhoods.

Considering this is from Breitbart, the author's assertion that "BLM has been raking in the cash to further the cause of black America" is shockingly wrong. But be that as it may, I ain't no "Doctor Bloody Bronowski," while Hawk Newsome is probably not living the ascetic existence of "an austere religious cleric," his income is certainly nowhere near that of Cullors and her partners in crime Alicia Garza and April Tometi. Along with greed, there's certainly a soupçon of misogyny and homophobia in the mix. But it's mostly greed, and a lust for power.

Caught red-handed, Cullors of course defends herself in typical fashion: blame whitey. Or at least that's how the official press release from the desk of Minister of Information Shaqwanda Goebbels reads:

Patrisse’s work for Black people over the years has made her and others who align with the fight for Black liberation targets of racist violence. The narratives being spread about Patrisse have been generated by right-wing forces intent on reducing the support and influence of a movement that is larger than any one organization. This right-wing offensive not only puts Patrisse, her child and her loved ones in harm’s way, it also continues a tradition of terror by white supremacists against Black activists. All Black activists know the fear these malicious and serious actions are meant to instill: the fear of being silenced, the trauma of being targeted, the torture of feeling one’s family is exposed to danger just for speaking out against unjust systems. We have seen this tactic of terror time and again, but our movement will not be silenced.

You take the most flak when you're directly over the target. The media's ability to provide cover notwithstanding, this incident is potentially quite damaging to "the movement." If it's one thing people cannot stand it's hypocrisy - even the lowliest of low-information types have got to be pausing for a moment to think why am I walking away with a few pairs of Air Jordans and a flatscreen when some fat carpet-muncher is buying multi-million dollar homes with the white man as her neighbor?  New show idea:  The Fresh Prole of Bel-Air.  Call Scott Rudin...

Oh sure, the media will no doubt cover for them and weave some sort of narrative to sort of make it palatable to the masses. Infinitely worse, Coca Cola, United Airlines, Ford, GM and most of the Fortune 500 will continue to eagerly hurl millions more at BLM while doing their bidding in purging their workforces and contractors of any counterrevolutionary elements - i.e. anyone white, Judeo-Christian, male, pro-American and the actually competent at their job. But this entire "woke" coalition of disparate and equally bigoted as well as venal elements only holds itself together by a "waffer-theeen" thread.

It's a pretty big Achilles Heel. But can those who are pulling the strings keep it together long enough to consolidate absolute power and consign these allies of convenience to the mass grave right before the rest of us? Or will it fall apart before then?  The world wonders...

Top Story

  • Apparently Hololive forgot to renew their Minecraft Realms account for the EN server and streams from Ollie, Ina, and Amelia all got derailed.  That doesn't sound like a major problem, but the smallest of those channels has half a million subscribers.  Oops.

According to the Minecraft help site you can't renew a Realms subscription once it's expired, which is (a) dumb and (b) possibly untrue.

    http://ai.mee.nu/images/SecretRenewButton.png?size=500x&q=95

If you can't renew expired accounts, why exactly is there a renew button on expired accounts?

But in any case you can download your world for 18 months after your account has expired, and upload it to a new Realms account or to your own server. That's pretty good retention; if you don't notice for a year and a half you probably weren't using it much.

Meanwhile as I type this Reine is fishing for creepers.

Democrat Female Governor of New Mexico Pays Out More Than $60,000 to Former Aide Who Accused Her of Violently Grabbing His Genitals
— Ace

For anyone who says the Democrat Party is created by and for mentally-ill perverts with bizarre Daddy issues -- well, note that they're also communists.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s gubernatorial campaign has paid at least $62,500 as part of a settlement with a former staff member who had accused her of sexual mistreatment during a staff meeting, according to documents filed Monday.

...

Hallinan, who now runs his own communications company, accused Lujan Grisham in late 2019 — about a year after he left the campaign — of pouring a bottle of water on his crotch and then grabbing his crotch through his clothes as she laughed, an incident he said took place in front of other campaign staffers.

The governor's flacks say the payment was only made to avoid the costs of litigation and the distraction of a lawsuit while "workin' for the people of New Mexico."

An innocent person doesn't repeat the playbook of Bill Clinton.

I have a notion that that money was paid to avoid the alleged witnesses to this assault being questioned under oath.
