— Ace So claims a guy on the internet, but his evidence seems, superficially, accurate.
And to think: They hated her enough when they only thought she was a Republican conservative feminist evangelical Christian Zionist!
Wait 'till Obama's antisemitic legions find out she's tainted by Hebe-blood to boot!
Okay... SarahW tells me this is wrong and that her maternal grandfather was born in Wisconsin with the name Sheeran, not changed to Sheeran, but his actual father's name.

— Ace Nuts, I wanted to be on this one, but I got lost in the PUMA thread. Oh well. Full transcript below and I don't know that they took questions anyhow.
See Rick Davis' bit for Obama's denials of having ever worked for/with ACORN (WHAT?), and the, um, slight evidence that he did. more...

— Ace Really, Obama? You thought Jay-Z's "99 Problems and a Bitch Ain't One" was an appropriate song choice during a primary campaign rally?

who stood near Will Ferrell Arrested for Gang Rape!
— Ace Sometimes you have to mislead a little bit in your headlines.
The MSM taught me that. And I'll never forget it. Lying is effective journalism.
"Random Task," who appeared in a scene with Will Ferrell, arrested for gang rape.
Thanks to dri.

— DrewM A few weeks ago, Ace blogged about an Iranian ship that was hijacked by Somali pirates. The hijacking of ships off Somali is becoming a fairly routine occurrence, but this one was a little different because the hijackers kept dying of illnesses that seemed to resemble radiation poisoning.
Well the hijackers have either been paid off or decided it just wasn't worth the trouble and have released the crew and the ship.
The question is, is someone (the US or other western navies who have ships in the area) going to inspect the ship and find out wtf is on board or just let it sail on it's merry way?

— Ace But she didn't say them.
She didn't say "confliction stories," as the LATimes claimed. She said "conflicting stories." And they made other changes like this.
Most newspapers will clean up a politician's minor grammatical errors if only for ease of readability -- ever try to follow an exact uh-by-stutter transcription of speech?
Today the LAT begins a new tradition -- deliberately inserting grammatical errors and wrong words to give the "flavor" of someone's presumed stupidity. Even if that person wasn't obliging enough to provide that flavor herself.
Or Are They Just That Stupid? I admit, the theory does have merit.

— Purple Avenger Being the vanguard for "social justice" is never easy, but Houston has stepped up to the plate by allowing the dead to vote.
...Investigative reporter Amy Davis shows you how hundreds of voters could sway this year's election -- voters who are not even alive. The only real problem with Zombie voters is they usually need a ride to the polls, so those vans full of zombies get kinda funky smelling pretty quick."All-in-all, a great person, a great woman, just a wonderful person" is how Alexis Guidry described her mother to Local 2 Investigates.
"As far back as I can remember, they've always voted in the election," Guidry said of her parents.
The March 2008 Primary was no exception. Voting records show Alexis' mom, Gloria Guidry, cast her ballot in person near her South Houston home.
"It was just very shocking, a little unsettling," said Alexis Guidry.
It's unsettling because Gloria Guidry died of cancer 10 months before the March Primary.
"She'd be very upset," Guidry said when asked what her mom would think...
...Texas Watchdog compared Harris County's voter registration roll with the Social Security death index and found more than 4,000 matches -- registered voters that, it appears, are already dead.
Some of them, like Henderson Hill's late wife Linda, voted postmortem...
In other news: Colin Powell beclowns himself by asserting that Tubes Stevens is of "Sterling" character. Ted Stevens, sterling character. Try and get your head wrapped around that one. I can't. more...

— Ace Up and down like crazy, +300 just a bit ago, now down 120.
That 8000 seemed to be a bouncy floor.
PS: This was one of the dumbest posts I ever wrote. I have no idea if there's a bottom, obviously. I think the hard bottom is lower, but maybe we won't get there.
Anyway, I just cannot in good conscience let this post stand without saying Don't listen to me, I'm a moron. I know you wouldn't anyway, but I still have to say it.
