Anyway:

A lawyer who served in the Clinton administration and more recently was an adviser to California's lieutenant governor pleaded guilty to a child porn charge in a San Diego federal court Monday.

Wade Rowland Sanders admitted to having 600 images of minors on his computer, including a video depicting "several prepubescent females engaged in sexual conduct with an adult male and performing oral sex on one another," according to a statement from U.S. Attorney Karen Hewitt.

FBI agents raided Sanders' home last May after they suspected his home Internet service account was used to download several pictures and a video showing underage girls having sex with adult men, according to an investigator's sworn statement.

"Sanders admitted that he had downloaded child pornography using the program Limewire but that he deleted the files once he noticed that they had been downloaded," FBI Special Agent John Caruthers said.

At least one of the young girls in the photos was identified and is a "known victim," the investigator said.

When Sanders, 67, is sentenced on March 30, he could get up to 10 years in prison and be ordered to pay a $250,000 fine. The minimum sentence for the charge is five years with supervised release for his lifetime and registration as a sex offender, the prosecutor said.

Campbell Soup Company has openly begun helping homosexual activists push their agenda. Not only did the ads cost Campbell's a chunk of money, but they also sent a message that homosexual parents constitute a family and are worthy of support.

The Aussies and Kiwis are being accused of "spying" on Fiji.

The New Zealand Foreign Minister has refused to make any comments on allegations by the Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum that they are using locals employed at the high commission to spy on the interim government.

The NZ Herald reports that a spokesperson for Murray McCully today refused to comment on the allegations and no further comments could be obtained from NZ Authorities...

A commenter, with obvious inside information, at the Huffington post has also keyed in on this Fiji thing. They've keenly identified the "Fiji Menace" as a key roadblock to world peace and astutely suggest nuking the place into a glazed parking lot just to make sure.

Those 100 mystery votes that parachuted in after the first count seem to have done the trick.

That is down from a 251-vote advantage that Franken had at the end of the day Friday, before the Secretary of State's office allocated votes from ballot challenges that the two sides had previously withdrawn.

The new unofficial numbers include most of the allocated votes, but not those from some unresolved ballot challenges. Nor do they include as many as 1,500 to 1,600 improperly rejected absentee ballots that are still to be dealt with. In addition, the Coleman campaign contends that about 130 ballots may have been double-counted and is seeking court action on those.

As a previous post of Allah's noted, those other votes will probably break for Franken, or at least not enough for Coleman.

I can't believe this.

Would Murdoch Really Buy the NYT? I doubt it. Consider, the moment he buys it, liberals flee it, and it loses most of its already-diminished value.

Would he buy the NYT just to destroy it? No. Not unless that would somehow catapult the WSJ into the national paper of record and end up making more money for him than he lost.
