— Ace Slublog starts it.
Who Is This Guy? ... a couple of people ask.
Am I the only person who actually reads this moronblog?
I linked this earlier today.
Another: RobG sends this one.
Uploading Pix: It's a hassel for me to upload every single pic sent to me, so I created an open-to-all-readers Flickr account.
The account is either aospix or aospix@yahoo.com (not sure which they want). The password is paulanka.
Once you go to www.flickr.com, sign in under that name, and upload your creations.
You can then post a link to the picture here.
Have To Do This One:

Thanks to Bugler.

— Ace About one minute in, right after Kerry answers about what he gave his wife for her birthday.

— Ace A spurned lover -- or a spurned fan turned into a one-night stand-- so she has an agenda.
An Agenda of Truth, I mean.
30-something office worker of Caribbean descent, KarmaBites1 said she struck up an e-mail friendship with Olbermann, whom she admired, and agreed to fly to New York to meet him last May. She says he came to her hotel room and opened a bottle of Merlot which he “spilled all over.” Then, when “sexual activity began [in] less than an hour,” Olbermann had difficulty. “I pretended he knew what he was doing,” the embittered blogger writes. “I adored the guy. I didn’t want him to think he was a dud in bed,” so she faked experiencing ecstasy.
I've met Edward R. Murrow, I've had sex with Edward R. Murrow, and you, Keith Olbermann, are no Edward R. Murrow.
It's kind of sad that this guy is doing this. Doesn't he know any women in "real life" who might want to have sex with him?
As I've said before, though -- each of Keith Olbermann's 40 or so veiwers stands a 25% chance of getting to have (lame) sex with him at one time or another.
Hitting Him Where It Really Hurts-- His Ratings: The woman Olbermann screwed (weakly) and then screwed over (neatly) notes his lies in self-reporting his ratings.
The Scoreboard: Among 8 o'clock cable hosts, only Anderson Cooper, widely suspected of playing for the other team, hasn't had a sex scandal yet.
Bill O'Reilly, at least, will rub a falafel on you. So, you know, even if the sex is bad, there's still that falafel.

Oh, me. With 53 f'n' points. How about that. Only lost those last two points because New Orleans failed to cover by a couple more points.
I crushed you like bugs. If I hadn't flaked out and not picked any games last week, I'd be near the top.

— Ace Everyone's watching it; you should too. It's a guy's video resume, and it's great.
Oh-- and half of the "achievements" he claims? Not true.
An Ivy League frisching.
Although "failure cannot be considered an option" is pretty good, I think my favorite part is where he says that people said he was too big to be a good tennis player, to serve and volley, and then rests his chin on his hand and says "Hmm" as the video cuts to him volleying in tennis.
The dancing's hot, too.
Inspirational Posters? The guy inspires me, I know that.

— Ace A crazy, pajama-wearin' blogger questioned this yesterday.
Now "some analysts" question this as well.
THERE were increasing doubts yesterday about the strength of North Korea's claimed nuclear test, with some analysts questioning whether the device worked properly or whether it was a nuclear weapon in the first place.
A successful nuclear test would be expected to have the same force as between 10 and 60 kilotons of high explosives but experts doubted the explosion was even one kiloton."We have assessed that the explosion in North Korea was a sub-kiloton explosion," The New York Times quoted one intelligence official as saying yesterday. "We don't know, in fact, whether it was a nuclear explosion."
Philip Coyle, a former head of weapons testing at the Pentagon and former director of nuclear testing for the US Government's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, told the Times the unimpressive size of the test suggested it was only partially successful.
"Now, maybe they intended to make it small, and perhaps they did, who knows?" he said.
"But if it turns out to be a kiloton or less, that would suggest that they hoped for more than that and didn't get it."
A reader who doesn't want to be identified says, "This is real damning testimony to how harmful socialism is: Half a century of Marxism can cause even Asians to flunk a science test!"

— Ace That would explain the constant sending of his "young ward" on suicide missions, I suppose.
OK..Debka really doesn't say that literally. You have to read between the lines a little. What they do say is that the Russians and the Syrians have taken over a town named Sidon in Southern Lebanon and have set it up as a Batcave of sorts for Hezballah.
Which is interesting enough in it's own right. But this is what stopped me in my tracks.
.
Apparently, it's some sort of Russian insignia for the units they are sending in to Lebanon. It just seems so...familiar somehow.
You know, I would have believed that the Green Arrow was a jew-hatin', jihad lovin', commie terrorist what with his blatant hard left politics and his preferred use of medieval weaponry.
But Batman?
That just hurts.
And don't start "correcting" me in the comments about how the Russians aren't Commies anymore, morons. When your country is led by the former head of the KGB, you are only a stones throw from implementing your next 5 year plan.
So it's close enough for a central committee of bureaucratic ministers to declare it successful government work, Chomsky.
In any event, I'll never look at the bat-signal the same way again. Especially if I have to face Mecca to see it.

— Ace To be honest, I have no idea what the status of my current posting privileges are around here, so to be on the safe side, I emphasize that this is not a post.
And this may or may not be a link to a story that involves a) lightning and b) a human colon.
Update: Is this something DARPA should be looking into? Because I see some real potential.

— Ace Let's just face the obvious. Ace sucks when it comes to posting music videos. It pains me to see the lame-ass shit he puts up.
There, I said it.
Did he give you Tommy James and the Shondells?
No. That was me.
Did he give you Apache? Did he give you Coldplay with that 80-year-old chick dancing?
No. That was me. I could go on, but you get my point.
Real music below the jump.
