— Ace Socialist Brit Rag The Guardian Is Pestering Ohio Voters By Encouraging Its Readers to Mass Email Them.
Tim Blair Is Encouraging YOU to Mass Email The Guardian's Writers and Editors.
Look, this is completely mean-spirited, juvenile, and spiteful.
And there are other reasons to email this prigs, too!
Thanks to JimW for the tip.

— Ace Well, some of these are debatable, but here are the answers to the quiz I posted early yesterday morning, at least as I sees 'em.
In some cases, I've been corrected by you guys. In one case (ABACAB/In the Dark), I might just have completely blown it; I'm hoping someone who knows music can set the record straight, as it were. more...

— Ace Interesting:
Six online journalists and webloggers have been arrested in Iran recently in a crackdown on dissent on the internet.
"People charged for having illegal internet sites... will be put on trial soon," said a judiciary spokesman. The trials would be "open" and charges included "acting against national security, disturbing the public mind and insulting sanctities".
Web journals flourish in Iran where the youthful, reform-hungry population has gone online for news and entertainment.
Hmmmm... sounds like Iran is pretty much like the US in that respect.
Thanks a lot to Bohemian Conservative, who rounds up real political oppression being committed by the dictators Hollywood either isn't interested in or actively supports.

— Ace Independent-minded. Non-partisan. Highly principled.
Of course I'm talking about Andrew Sullivan, and his new best buds, the equally independent-minded, non-partisan, and highly-principled Daily Kos, Josh Marshall, and Atrios.
The Daily Recycler takes out the trash so I don't have to.
I'm just curious: If I began identifying Andrew Sullivan at every mention like so:
Andrew Sullivan, the homosexual....
or
Andrew Sullivan, who lies down with men...
or
Andrew Sullivan, sodomist...
would he rise to my defense?
C'mon, now. Andy is once again extraodinarily flexible when it comes to defending the politicians he currently favors.
Same behavior from those he doesn't like-- "outrage," "appalling," "disgusted," "heart-ache," etc.
He's beyond parody at this point. Which doesn't mean I won't try. It just makes it... tricky.
Awesome Bitchslap Update! Instapundit jerks one into the cheap seats with this towering shot:
STILL MORE: Andrew Sullivan writes: "The usually even-keeled Instapundit says that Kerry's 'position on gay marriage is the same as the President's.' I can't see how that's even remotely the case."Well, it was this Kerry statement that led to my conclusion:
The president and I have the same position, fundamentally, on gay marriage. We do. Same position.Call me crazy, but I took that to mean that they had the same position. Since it was a Kerry statement, I should have realized that I was probably missing out on a crucial nuance.
From Spoons, who adds:
I don't care that Sullivan's become a Democrat. I care that he's become a dick.
Well.
I don't think those are going to be easy to top.

Well, since her husband was just being so sweet to Mary Cheney, perhaps I can return the sweetness favor to Elizabeth Edwards, and suggest that she find an alternative route to work that doesn't bring her within a thousand feet of a Krispy Kreme.
I'm just trying to be as "supportive" as she is, you understand.
