It's been fun switching back and forth between CNN and Fox.
Piers Morgan is like a hamster on speed, running around trying to spin shit into gold for Obama. "Wasn't this just the textbook perfect operation from the top down? Fox on the other hand has Hannity trying desperately to get as much jihad info about these two out that he can before the MSM and the JournoListers (but I repeat myself) tamp down a narrative. So he's talking about their youtube videos and the ones they favorited, their tweets, the radical Imam that they had links to and videos of on their computers, etc.

The Public Safety Exception is a weird thing to claim because it seems to be focused more on questions asked immediately after detainment and mostly to protect officers who are making a good faith effort to protect the public. IE, asking a suspected kidnapper, at the time of arrest, where he hid the child. If the government is claiming that they can revoke fifth and sixth amendments, then there is a serious problem.

You betcha. The bullet holes actually reduce the weight of the boat and thus the cost of the gas to power it. We can use the money we save on more alcohol to drink on the boat before it sinks due to the holes.

It did not take a genius to read his mood, and it wasn't relief. His weeks did not go so well...and that is what he really thinks (not of the week that was pure hell for what people are going through in Boston and West). Even the ricin note he sent to himself did not get that much notice! And, I think, he was as surprised as we are that the wee jihadist was taken alive (though, from the two photos I have seen, his demise will not surprise. That rhymes!).

regarding the Miranda exemption and it's application overseas, the prisoners who have information of an urgent nature are probably not turned over to the FBI until they have been squeezed by DOD, CIA, or whomever. Regardless, the exemption would apply to them too.
And considering this guy came in a couple quarts low, chances are the exemption won't apply because the immediate threat (if any) will have passed by the time he is able to talk.
The application of the exemption doesn't remove the defendants rights, and any statements made during this exemption will be subject to judicial review. It is similar to the exigent circumstances rule vs. the 4th Amendment. If you commit a violent crime in the view of a police officer and run into your house, the police wouldn't need a warrant to pursue you into the house to arrest you. They would still need a warrant to search the house for evidence (except for plain view).
