Is This Something?
— Ace

From @ComradeArthur, a very short (128 seconds) horror film made for a short horror film contest.

Is it scary? Well, I got scared 20 seconds in. Then it got worse.

Then I turned it off, because: I don't need this crap.

Also below: The new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is just like Star Trek Generations, except instead of Jean Luc meting Kirk, he meets himself.

Oh, and it's got Sentinel robots.

And as a bonus, also from @comradearthur: The secret history of WWII revealed. Apparently the Nazis had dragons.

Key historical quote: "They have the Iron Cross tattooed on their wings."

No matter who you are, one of those things must be Something.

Bonus: I think this story went around the web a while back, but it's still going on: Creepy Clown terrorizes Staten Island.

It's really pretty scary. I'm not afraid of clowns, but I'm afraid of this clown.

23 Well, the creepy critter in the first video would have to be immune to lead. As far as the dragons go, I don't think it's possible to make flapping wings go 400 mph. It's a movie, right? So what ever the screen writers write, that's the way it is.

78 Days of Future Past postulates a time when humans have gotten so good with technology they hunt and destroy mutants, especially with huge humanoid Sentinel robots. Some mutants are even enslaved to act as "hounds" to hunt down fellow mutants. The world is pretty much destroyed due to the war, and most of the X-Men dead. Trivia: its set in 2013, but was published in 1980.

81 Kitty was in the films but she was played by a couple different girls and was always a bit character. She had a little bit larger part in the 3rd movie, but was always a minor character. Not all clowns are scary...but all clowns are creepy.

Except for 'rodeo clowns'.

Those guys actually serve a purpose...and save lives.

Although the ones who jump in and distract the Bulls away from the Bull Riders aren't referred to as 'clowns' any more.

They're now called...'Bull Wranglers'.

193 I think the scary video would work better if you didn't know what it was. If someone just sent it to you (and it didn't have that beginning about how it was in a contest), and then you watched it, it would surprise you. The surprise element gives it the real scary. But, if you know ahead of time that it has an official award as the scariest thing ever, you go in waiting to be scared. And then you aren't. Not really.

Or maybe I'm just dead inside.
