— Gabriel Malor Happy Tuesday.
According to Hill sources, Obama administration is going to announce yet another Obamacare delay to help Democrat electoral chances.
Obama will unveil a budget proposal that won't go anywhere in Congress, but is also aimed at boosting the Democrats' 2014 chances. I doubt it will help them much.
These are all pretty bad, but the last two are really bad.
Keep sending those Ask the Blog questions.

For Republicans like Mr. McCoy, who is running for a state Assembly seat, the national party has racked up decades of compromises that have led to relentless government expansion, ever-increasing spending growth, continually mounting national debt and growing intrusiveness into the private lives of Americans.

BION that is how federal employee unions came about in the first place. An executive order from Kennedy followed by the Democrat congress passing a law to make it legal.

Our Republican Betters can get behind him, and that's what matters. Karl Rove can waddle around singing his praises, and eunuchs like Poppin' Fresh can accept him as a "consensus candidate" when Santorum and TPaw's campaigns take another dump.

Wow. It's like she's already gone. All that... energy (something) she exuded in every pose and word... not there at all. Or did Poppins's intro prejudice me?
Perhaps. But it really is an odd picture. I wonder if it was the first one Avedon took that session, or maybe he snapped it surreptitiously when she didn't know? The washed-out face combined with the low-cut dress really says, "Here, I know this is all you want. So take it." Perhaps that was the statement in regards to the price of fame Avedon was going for.
Or maybe MM was just hung over / drugged out. I don't know.

UPSPAC spends lots of money trying to decrease regulation and level the playing field between it and FedEx.
It's not a philosophical stance...it is one of expediency.
UPS is regulated using railroad regs, and FedEx is regulated as an airline, which makes it essentially much freer to act.

My hypothesis is that after that doofus made the huge mistake of trying to match wits with Sarah Palin and she zinged him with the "why the long face" comment in front of troops, Thurston Howell the Turd went whining to Lovey to make that mean snowbilly stop. Tereeeeezzza rolled her eyes and tossed him some jack to have mashed potatoes stuffed in that lantern jaw to make his face appear "normal" with the expected horrible results, given the raw material the poor doctor had to work with.

.
.He is not going to run for President. No way is he going to give up his cushy guaranteed Senate seat. Right now he is running unopposed. I guess that could change once he makes up his mind about what he is going to do, but Frankfort is not going to change the rules for him.

That ten million dollars in gold coins discovered by a couple in Northern California? Not only will they now not have to pay taxes on it, the government, ever eager to help it's citizens in trying times such as this, will helpfully take all of it.
It turns out the coins were swiped from the SF Mint in 1899, and the coins are official gubmint propety. I assume the couple will get a nice thank you card in their upcoming IRS audit, and possibly a visit by the US govt to tear their property apart looking for more coins.

.How in the hell can the government prove those were the actual coins stolen? The don't have serial numbers and from what I read there were a couple of coins not from the SF mint in that hoard. I call BS on that.

it was just looked at as a possibility. the 1899 robbery was of 30K face value of coins. the hoard is a bit over 28K. the appraisers have looked at it and said the coins were most likely put in the ground over a number of years. coin dates span 47 years.
