— LauraW. A friend tipped me to this video about the Tavor over at Defense Tech:
Commenters at youtube dispute some of the assertions in the video.
Eh, who cares. I still want one. It's almost small enough to fit in a big purse.
Thanks to Norm.
UPDATE: Cute spoof below, thanks to Bumperstickerist.

— Ace No waves? No problem. Four sticks of dynamite can take care of that.
Very loud metal music plays over the clip, just in case you weren't sure this was an exxxtreme! stunt.
Thanks to dri.

— Ace One of the worst actors in the Duke 3 persecution. I don't like Jon Stewart, and I'm not sure I get why it's wrong (as he suggests) to reveal the name of the criminal Crystal Gail Mangum, but the conclusion is worth it all.

— Ace That reality, of course, being the innoncence of the Duke 3 and the criminality of the Durham 2 (Goldstein link, click to your heart's content).
I know it's been Duke central here the past few days. Forgive me, but I've been waiting for the "feminists" to break their studious silence and begin saying some truly stupid things. Here we go:
The charges were dropped. Does this mean that they are innocent?
Um, yeah. Like the AG said so 'n stuff. He didn't merely drop the charges. He exonerated them fully. Surprised she didn't hear about that. It was sorta big news.
None of us actually know what happened that night. Sorry, unless you were there, you donÂ’t know what happened.
The other stripper was there and says no rape happened. So does every other person there, except the accused.
Now for the rest of you that have such a die hard belief in the criminal justice system and evidence, well quite frankly I pity you.
This stupid bint seemed to have quite a bit of "die hard belief in the criminal justice system and evidence" when pandering, corrupt liberal Mike Nifong was in charge of the process.
Now, not so much.
She kind of gives the game away with that sneering mention of "evidence" as if it's just another tool of the patriarchy designed to oppress her.
Which, frankly, it is. Logic, evidence, reason -- all tools of the patriarchy rejected by stupid vag-clowns like this. Gets in the way of their ovarian emoting.
This is a system that arrests a disproportionate number of people of color...
In unrelated news, people of color commit a disproportionate number of crimes.
...subjecting them to unfair trials, inadequate representation and longer sentences (in a prison system that resembles slavery)
Resembles slavery? In what way? The deprivation of freedom and the condemnation to second (or worse) class citizenship during the period of incarceration?
I just looked that up. That's called "prison." What sort of prison system would not deprive prisoners of freedom? An open prison, where you show up if you like, leave if you feel like it, and if a guard tells you to lay off raping the new fish, you're allowed to say, "I'm sorry, but my dignity requires me to refuse your request"?
SORRY, I donÂ’t trust the courts. When youÂ’re a woman of color whoÂ’s a sexworker, up against white kids with money that can afford *good* lawyers, the outcome is not looking so good.
Does she even grasp that one of them was in another part of town during the alleged "rape"?
Good Lord, that guy must be well-hung.
They were not found to be innocent, the charges were dropped from lack of evidence.
Again: Simply wrong.
Now comes a curious part:
Moreover, innocent until proven guilty only applies to certain people. Ideally, it would apply to everyone but *a lot* of people are guilty at arrest, just for being who they are and where they are. We are not operating in a vacuum, but within a long history of corruption and injustice in the supposed justice system. So, if these guys were in fact falsely accused, they got a taste of how black men are treated EVERY DAY by the criminal justice system.
She seems to concede there these guys were innocent, just like all those po' black criminals she's claiming are innocent. And her conclusion? It's a good thing they "got a taste" of how an innocent black man is treated by the justice system, that is, as guilty.
Pretty much comes right out and says it: I don't care if they were guilty or not. In fact, it's even better if they are innocent, because then they've learned what it's like for black people.
Disgusting.
I expect Amanda Marcotte will manage to top this, if she ever gets around to acknowleging the rather major story at all.
Can't wait for the AG's report on the innocence of the Duke 3 and the guilt of the Durham 2. Should be fun.
Which, of course, the Duke 3 didn't also get. They also got something slightly worse: A bill of indictment for rape and the condemnation of their "rape" by every MSM source in the country, as well as their own university.
Those Rutgers chicks... how do they manage to soldier on?
Sorry, Best Quote: I missed this.
The girl here clearly has no idea of the basic facts of the case. She misstates basic things (like claiming repeatedly this is merely a case of a prosecution being dropped for insufficient evidence -- as if that, itself, would be some sort of technicality) -- and never addresses any actual facts here, except that the stripper is black, etc.
Easy stuff like that.
But she gives herself permission to be so colossally ignorant and yet so very passionate:
Why do I say all this? Because the details of the ACTUAL case are only tangentially relevant here.
The "details" (pesky little trivialities" of the "ACTUAL case" (in other words, the instant case, something she's distinguishing from the "general case" of white male oppression) are "only tangentially relevant here."
Only tangentially relevant.
Doesn't much matter what the "facts" or "evidence" are. There's a bigger "Truth" out there that must be vindicated.
What a fucking moron. What a nasty, ignorant-and-proud, vicious little bridge-troll this one is.
Hey, Toots? Reason there's sexism and racism in society? Self-appointed speakers for their race and sex like you embarrassing the rest of them.
Racism? Sexism? Not-a-physician, heal thyself.

— Jack M. No this is not a post about Gov. Corzine's unfortunate auto accident.
It is, instead, about preventative measures you can take to avoid the same fate.
Like, for instance, erasing Meat Loaf from your Ipod.
Want to stay safe on the roads? Then avoid listening to Guns N Roses, Meat Loaf and Bruce Springsteen behind the wheel. The trio are among the artists featured on a top 10 of tracks that get people's blood pumping and in the mood to drive aggressively.
Erase "Bat out of Hell", you say! Preposterous! I would do anything for safety, but I won't do that. Oh No. I said I won't do that.
You just don't understand. I want automotive safety. I need automotive safety. But there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love automotive safety.
And since two out of three aint bad, are there other songs/artists I could avoid instead? Luckily, there are!
It includes classic rock tracks, such as Meat Loaf's "Bat Out Of Hell" and Springsteen's "Born to Run," as well as tracks such as Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" and Guns N Roses' "Paradise City."More modern tracks, including The Killers' "When we were Young" and Feeder's "Buck Rogers" also featured, as did -- perhaps fittingly -- "You Will Be Under My Wheels" by dance act the Prodigy.
Heh...the Ace of Spades lifestyle contributes to car accidents. I didn't know you morons could afford cars. Or insurance. Or gas.
Although these results do confirm a long standing rule I've had. If you are ever offered a ride by someone who is blaring a song by "dance act the Prodigy" just say no.
Cause that's an accident just waiting to happen.
Even if the car never gets into drive.

— Ace Did I say "Modest"? That suggests satire. Not quite the right word.
I guess I meant Final Solution.
I gotta say-- the guy makes a pretty strong case. I suppose my problem is that, sure, it's pretty obvious that all white people need to be exterminated; few, if any, doubt that.
But what concrete steps does this guy suggest to get to this laudable goal? I'm afraid I need a few more details, Buffalo Soldier. A bunch of vague happy-talk about eliminatig all white people from the face of the earth isn't enough. I mean, white people aren't just going to go out and exterminate themselves. If that were the case, we'd already be living in paradise.
Well, I wouldn't. But everyone else would.
You're on CSPAN, after all: be a little more wonkish.

— Ace ...on the way to meet with the Rutgers women's basketball team. In criitical, but not life-threatening, condition. (Yeah, I don't get that either.) Serious fractures including a broken hip compound fracture -- bone pierced the skin.
More here. The crash was caused by a small red pickup which was driving on the shoulder (illegally, I think, in NJ) which then veered out suddenly on to the highway, causing a chain reaction collision behind it.
The red pickup fled the scene.
Hmmmm. Possible DWI (driving while illegal). If so, O'Reilly will have enough material until the year 2018.
Corzine usually doesn't wear a seat-belt, but he does cruise around in one of those world-destroying SUV's... and that latter fact probably spared him more serious injuries.

The Doody family hope to raise profile of faggots
That's the actual caption that runs with the picture on the BBC's site, by the way. Note how nonjudgmental it is about all this, as if this is perfectly normal behavior.
This is disgusting. Where are Britian's child protection agencies? Where is the outrage?
A West Midlands family is playing a central role in the quest to raise the profile of.... faggots.
Yeah, like we need any more of that, huh? Isn't Queer as Fuck enough for you people?
The Doody family from Wolverhampton has been crowned The Faggot Family in a national competition, and to kick off their reign they will launch National Faggot Week.
Should make for a lovely Christmas card. I bet gramps & grans will be so very proud of what you've become.
If the parents want to "swing" with same-sex partners, that's their right as adults, I get. But how can underage children consent to such perversion?
The family will be touring the country extolling the virtues of the [faggot].The Doody family were chosen to front the campaign after impressing judges at the Savoy Hotel in London in November.
How long before that audition tape makes it to YouTube, I wonder? It's like the Aristocrats -- for real.
Defining deviancy down. And I didn't think it could get any lower.
"The nation knows that the Cornish pasty, Yorkshire pudding, haggis and fish and chips are great British dishes, but all too often the faggot is left off that list," said Janet Doody.
It helps to know that in British slang, the "Cornish pasty," the "Yorkshire pudding," and "Haggis and fish and chips" are all unspeakably deviant sex acts, and "dishes" is Cockney rhyming slang for such acts. I think it comes from "frigging the fishes," which becomes "dishes," for whatever stupid reason.
I don't know how it works. Cockneys are retards.
Her husband Fred added: "It's unfair because faggots were a British delicacy long before any of the others."The great British faggot is full of flavour and a great belly warmer at this time of year."
Jesus. He's not even ashamed. He just flat-out puts it out there. "A great belly warmer." Yeah, I'll be it is, buddy. But you know what? I think I'll pass, if it's all the same to you. My belly's been pretty cold for my whole life, and I think I'll just keep it that way.
Oh, I'm sorry -- does that make me a "hater"?
The family, including Lewis, 13, and Grace, 7, eat faggots twice a week, with mashed potato and mushy peas...
That was a little bit of gratuitous sexual detail, wasn't it?
The competition was organised by [a] faggot producer...
Of course it was. That's the way the media works most of the time. How the hell do you think Groove Is In The Heart got played eighty billion times?
Thanks to Del.

— Ace Leader? Well, he is a leader. He may not have the largest constituency, but they are, ummm, passionate::
He wore his usual garb - a dark Goebbels-like uniform with patches and stripes, close-cropped hair, and Malcolm X designer glasses. Surrounding him were a unit of peace-loving Muslims in black berets and paramilitary gear, who defiantly chanted "Black power!" on cue.Shabazz defended Osama bin Laden, blamed President Bush for the 9-11 attacks, called our founding fathers "snakes" and likened them to terrorists, lambasted Catholicism, Christians, and Jews, and repeated his avaricious call for societal reparations to blacks. This is old hat for Shabazz, who rose to power under ex-Nation of Islam exile Khalid Muhamad. Among Shabazz's resume highlights: stoking the recent Cincinnati race riots; organizing a legal support group for O.J. Simpson; leading a boycott of a D.C.-based Korean grocery store that was later firebombed; urging followers in Maryland to "crush" any "straw-chewin', tobacco-chewin' racist redneck" that assaults blacks; and threatening to kill whites and police officers if they interfered with his "Million Youth March" two years ago in New York.
"The only solution any time there is a funeral in the black community is a funeral in the police community," Shabazz told the marchers at the time.
...
One audience member claimed that the hijackings, destruction, and deaths were "nothing more than a Hollywood lie." An "imaam" named Abdul Alim Musa agreed, assailing the "Zionists in Hollywood, the Zionists in New York, and the Zionists in D.C." who "all collaborate" to oppress blacks and Muslims. Another audience member refuted the politically correct notion that the Muslim religion is rooted in peace. After all, he noted, true followers believe that "Paradise is under the shade of our swords."
So he called Malkin a prostitute while being interviewed, in this video clip.
Not really sure that there's any real Imus equivalency here. The guy does not have his own radio show or anything, and is generally acknowleged to be a flakey racist.
However -- if you read Michelle's full article, her real scorn is not for these fascist racist murder-cultists. No, her real scorn is for the MSM, which refused to cover Shabazz's hate conference at all, despite the fact it was broadcast on CSPAN-2 and held at the DC National Press Club, which even I can find pretty easily.
Some genuine, vicious hate is ignored, while relatively ticky-tack playground putdowns are obsessed by the media for going on a week and half, with no signs of stopping.
Any guesses why that should be?
The first clip Hot Air has can be skipped; the guy's slightly annoying in trying to blame whitey for everydamnthing, but he is somewhat reasonable, if not in ideology, at least in tone.
