Still trying to break in my UTS-15.
It has a problem with 3" shells.
Hoping running and cleaning will break it in.

Sadly the only thing that goes up, is the rear cover to clear FTFs and FTEs
Hopefully I can get it to be reliable enough to put some flippy things on it.

"The statement came before protests on the American embassy in Cairo."
It's always been a real headscratcher to me as to how they could blame the video before the "protests" in Cairo even began. Seems to me someone has to show up and tell you what they're pissed about before you can blame something. Has this initial statement ever been explained?

Hello from Way Down Here where it's still Sunday..
We had Mothers Day here too - had a lovely lunch with family at a Sri Lankan restaurant which is a favourite of the Old Aussie Bloke's 90 yo Mum
My son actually rang me from Queensland where he lives - he's usually forgetful for days like today - even though he sounded a bit under the weather - he got home from a party at 6am)
And I see you're all moving Down Under when that Yellowstone thingie goes bang?
We have 2 spare bedrooms if anyone needs a place to stay.....

Good morning everybody, and happy mothers day to all the 'ettes who are!
The Grunpy Grandma has to work at the ballpark today and the Navy's Newest Sailor is enroute to Japan so she has a tremendous sad.
BUT......the route to Japan goes through DFW and includes an 'unexpected layover' of 15 days to do a stint as a Recruiter Assitant. Sooooo... all the kids and I will be going to the game where we'll surprise mom with a cameo appearance of the Navy's Newest Sailor.
Bwahahahahahahahahahaha........

Might take you up on that. However, I live less than 100 miles from the outermost edge of the ash bloom (SE Texas) so it may not be necessary.

You're very welcome if you do make it out of that molten lava flow, ash clouds etc
Just bring a souvenir from your home town - maybe a snow globe or a pretty little sticker for the car and the spare bedroom is yours!

Probably true, but I'm thinking a few fewer threats and a lot more action might bring with it some much needed credibility.

About Gone With the Wind - I have read it, a couple of times - resisting a strong impulse to throw it across the room now and again. Scarlett was a horrible human being, like Becky Sharp - but a creation that we keep coming back to, as if mesmerized. I did a similiar 'southern belle' character in one of my books - a selfish, self-centered and manipulative woman, the sister-in-law of one of my heroes, trying to manipulate him into marrying her, without any luck. I described her to my alpha-readers as 'Scarlett O'Hara to men and women who didn't like her at all. '
"She was a widow with a small son, and with little
inclination towards managing her own affairs. Looking around for someone who
would masterfully take all these burdens from her, AmeliaÂ’s eyes couldnÂ’t help
but fall onto Peter. Against all those practical considerations and what she
perceived as her overwhelming need, his disinclination was merely a small
obstacle to be overcome. No doubt she thought it would be only a matter of time
before she wore him down as she had worn down his brother, with tears, tantrums,
and pretty displays of forgiveness and reconciliation. Peter had observed this
from afar, indulgently thinking his brother could be forgiven that kind of
soft-headedness; Horace had loved her, after all. But Peter did not, and he had
no intention of being maneuvered into doing as Miss Amelia wished."Yeah, I really did not like Scarlett O'Hara. I quite enjoyed the exercise of painting her as a woman to be avoided ... at all speed and running in a zig-zag pattern.
