Is This Funny?

I think the Gingrich and Santorum supporters might think it's funny.

I think it's so-so.

Who is Mitt Romney? Seriously?

Who is the current President of the United States? Who were his friends, girlfriends, acquaintances, and roommates? The one we know about are terrorists and communists. Makes you wonder about the ones we don't know about, if these are the ones his handlers will own up to.

Where are the anecdotes about his childhood and early adulthood? What does he believe, and why? What factors shaped his views?

Instead, we get the first President to come out of Witness Protection.

So I don't want to hear "Who is Romney?" We've forgotten more about Romney than we'll ever know about Obama, unless perhaps there's another Venona project.

52 On November 15, 2004, 25 year old Sgt. Peralta, deployed to Iraq as a scout team leader assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, along with his team was ordered to clear houses in the Operation Phantom Fury. Peralta was not assigned to enter the buildings, but chose to do so anyway.[5] Sergeant Peralta led his team through a series of house clearings before charging into the fourth house. He found two rooms empty on the ground floor. Peralta opened a third door and was hit multiple times with AK-47 fire, leaving him severely wounded. He dropped to the floor and moved aside in order to allow the Marines behind him to return fire.[6] The insurgents responded by throwing a grenade at the Marines. The two Marines with Sgt. Peralta tried to get out of the room but could not. Sgt. Peralta was still conscious on the floor and reports indicate that despite his wounds, he was able to reach for the grenade and pull it under his body absorbing the majority of the lethal blast and shrapnel which killed him instantly, but saved the lives of his fellow Marines.[7][6] Sgt. Peralta is buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California.[8] [edit]

Seemed kind of pointless, to me. Seems to be making a claim about Romney, but doesn't even try to back it up, not even with any claims (legit or otherwise) as to him any specific changing positions. I found the technique employed to be more tiresome than entertaining, so mostly it boiled down to some juvenile name-calling (kind of like Obama with his mentions about the telephone and such, the other day) to me.

At least the ones that did occur you knew they likely had real license plates and actual insurance.

103 Turnout was very low, too. Only 24 people had been in before me. Of course it was only 10:00 a.m., but that still seemed like a low number.
-------------------------

Turnout at all the primaries except very small States has been low since SC.  This does not bode well for the general.

104 Rogers might be a little bit nuts, but she has twice the brains of Jackson-Lee and ten times the integrity.

Yeah, but so do my morning shits.

105 This humanized Romney, made me like him a little.

107 Nice. Crack-use meets "The Addams Family". Wtf?!? I mean, the guy is a liberal Democrat, just one who doesn't regularly trip on mescaline. You can tell. Plus, he looks like Bush I.

108 I think it's more "wow, this guy is either insane or creative" funny, that he spent so much time on it.  It certainly is clever.

The people who mixed this are geniuses. I'll raise my glass to them.

110 What's really funny is how desperate the Sanctimonious campaign has become - as evidenced by their alternate reality delegate count.

I watched 54 seconds before tuning out. Why would I, as a conservative who hates it when the Left takes things out of context, want to watch the GOP take things out of context?

I'm not a Mitt fan, but I hate unfair attacks against any candidate. Esp. because -- barring a miracle at a brokered con where Perry re-emerges (and it's something I pray for ever day & I voted for Perry today in my primary) -- Mitt's going to be the nominee.

112 Shared the watching of that with a romneybot....he said "I'm not even remotely impressed with that commercial, it just made me sad".

Is the person who did this a republican or an obamabot?  Or did romney do this as an intro to talk about how warm and fuzzy he is?

113 I'm voting for him holding my nose, just like 2008 with McCain, but I enjoyed that video. I'd like to kick the Pubbie establishment in the nutsack for shitting on us again

115 That's an old television set. Probably black and white.  Before cable channels. Certainly before digital TV. But the images were taken from 2012 or 2011, or doctored like in Forrest Gump the movie..

The Obama thing was somewhat good simply because of the ability to do this thing. Having Obama asking for the real Mitt Romney.

And some of this video I really didn't like. And a little bit of it - maybe not such a little bit actually, was in really, really poor taste.  I won't mention what it was except that it was mostly towads the end.

It didn't make too much sense. It was more playing with video than anything else, and that's the light it needs to be seen in.
