— Open Blogger OK, so this article here I pulled from the sidebar a few days ago is Margaret Carlson's defense of Wendy Davis' lying lies about the narrative of her life story which is a bunch of lies. As you might imagine, Carlson's piece is a boiled-down, gooey tar pit of concentrated stupid (think of that oil slick that ate Tasha Yar), that'll lower your IQ by several points if you so much as glance at it.
But, buried deep in the dumb, there is something kind of interesting. In the midst of her defense of Wendy Davis' serial lying, she suddenly switches gears and says:
I donÂ’t agree with Davis on the filibuster that made her famous. Abortions should be illegal after viability, which is coming earlier and earlier as neonatal care improves.
Really, Margaret? You really believe there should be actual *limits* on abortion? You're saying that after the pregnancy progresses past a certain point, abortion should be illegal? That women should be *forbidden* from having them? You mean you would deny a woman her constitutionally protected "right to choose"?
Holy crap. How dare she?
So what's viability these days? 22-25 weeks? That's getting down to almost the second trimester, isn't it? That's pretty early.
So how has Margaret Carlson been able to get away with such heresy? Why hasn't she been asked to turn in her Sisterhood card? Where is the Legion of Outrage and why haven't they burned Ms. Carlson in effigy?
She is obviously not of the Body.

Wendy Davis ripped off her loving husband, all the while bouncing a much younger man's schlong for personal gratification. This behavior is normally associated with the words gold-diggin' bitch. And for good measure, she's a slimy turd.

Margaret Carlson was the liberal chick in college who believed the horny conservative who told her he valued her opinion and trusted her judgement while he humped her taco for bragging rights to the "most ignorant chick on campus who gives great blowjobs" award.

And from the same person who has without doubt been ***THE*** single most active enabler and defender of the surgical murder of helpless infants ever to hold the office of President of the United States.

As a woman, I do acknowledge that although I would never have one myself, there is a need for safe, legal abortions in LIMITED circumstances (the old "safe, legal and rare" line -- if it was actually true, not a trojan horse for abortion on demand, as it has turned out to be). I know the progs scream about *choice* but the fact is, when people CHOOSE to have sex both the male and female are making the choice to risk conception (even with protection -- nothing is 100%). Why should the female get a second bite at the apple --- a 2nd *choice* -- about whether to have the baby if conception occurs? Well, I can rationalize that since it is she who has to carry the child (which is hard on her body), and that having a child is something that will change her life in a way nothing else does (plus, don't forget that if the guy cuts out -- it is she who will have primary care of the baby), she should be given a VERY SMALL WINDOW to re-think/re-choose whether to have the baby. What the pro-abortion groups in the USA are currently advocating for, though, is completely uncivilized and demeaning to women. If a woman is so stupid that she can't figure out that she is pregnant and/or get herself to a clinic by her 5th month (which is basically what the pro-abortion groups claim with their "abortion on demand at any time" philosophy), she gets no sympathy from me and I advise her to start looking into adoption agencies if she doesn't want to raise the child herself.

Here's a broadly worded hint. A guy who sits down to a private dinner with Barack Obama every time Obama comes to Silicon Valley, and a guy who volunteered engineering help from his firm to assist the technology push of Obama's campaign arm in 2012, _just might possibly not be an actual conservative_.

All of a sudden the thought of someone aborting your grandchild, or even the grandchild of another makes one nauseous.
I was chatting with a 'liberated' woman the other day about various matters, and she told me a funny story. She was talking to her 30 year old childless married daughter about house owning matters when she said she blurted out of nowhere, she had no idea where it came from: "WHERE THE HELL ARE MY GRANDKIDS?" She said she felt much better afterwords.

Abortion is even harder on a woman's body than pregnancy.
A guy who is willing to participate in baby-making activities should accept his part of the responsibility.
Posted by: Mindy at February 08, 2014 04:04 PM (mQwL2)
***************************
Point one: Yes, abortion is hard on the body too. I'm not quite sure I accept that a first-trimester one is *harder* than a full-term pregnancy and delivery, especially one that requires a c-section. But even if it is, it's irrelevant to the overall point I was making about the need for a truly "safe, legal and rare" standard in this country -- what we have now is just "legal;" with "safe" and "rare" we aren't even close. I will say I'm not interested in debating whether there should be a complete ban or not (ideally, yes, I would like for no one to ever get one except in dire medical necessity cases -- but that's not going to happen). You can claim I am compromising my morals, but I don't think of it that way -- ultimately, I can only be responsible for my own choices and my own soul. As I stated, I would never have one.
Point two -- Again, ideally a guy should accept responsibility. Many don't though -- courts are full of claims for back child support, etc. That's just reality.

I don't know what got into her with this abortion "viability" argument. The MSM labored mightily to keep coverage of the Gosnell atrocities to a minimum, but modern science is making the traditional No Limit Abortion position less viable - not just through improvements in neo-natal care and treating premature births, but mainly through the ability of ultrasound images to illustrate that a baby is, in fact, a human being at very early stages and not the "mass of tissue" the abortionistas have always claimed.
The movement of some liberal females toward some limits on abortion now may be in effect a rearguard action as they see the writing on the wall.

Sort of repeating something I read but can't attribute since I didn't bookmark it. The abortion tidal wave (coupled with birth control) is creating generations of people with no extended family, i.e., no siblings, no cousins, no nephews, etc. Old age might be a bit bleak for them.
Of course with divorce and gay marriage, they may have multiple parents and step-parents of varying persuasions, like Heather.

That is a question I struggle with -- how to approach it. Your suggestion about making it "illegal to pressure a woman to abort" seems, to me, to be next to impossible to enforce (i.e., we'd only know about the pressure if the woman comes forward).
I usually end up concluding that we have to expose what the Dems *say* about abortion for the lie that it is (although with the MSM running interception for them at every turn, that's pretty impossible too). See, "safe, legal and rare" and "I can't impose my religion on/make that choice for others" *sounds* really good to the vast majority of people out there -- heck, I agree with those positions myself and when I was younger, I was fooled into thinking those statements embodied the Dem position. It was only as I got older and realized what was what that I realized it was all a b.s. cover story to advance abortion on demand at any time by the Dems. If people actually knew the Dems real position -- not the good-sounding lies they tell -- they would be repulsed.
