I know it's been a while since the last thread, so here's a fresh one, while I try to figure out if I'm doing something wrong or if the blog just can't save posts.

212 I am convinced that the blue states have not really moved to the left, or at least not nearly as much as it would appear, and that that appearance is mostly a product of voting fraud. That became clear last November, and thinking back it has been going on for my entire lifetime and even longer (and I was born before WWII). Without voting fraud we would be a very different (and better) country. There's probably something in the Bible that would cast light on this phenomenon.

Now all the hate directed at white people has been ramped up as well and is becoming official govt .policy with the Biden regime .  Most  every  major institution are infected and even places like my bank and gym have never ending campaign to celebrate diversity and the crushing of white people. The thought of what kids are being forced fed in schools on top of the corona panic is enraging.  I keep thinking this cannot go on, is becoming intolerable, yet it gets  worse every day. Trump was barely a speed bump. Is there breaking point?  I'm starting to believe  there is nothing that will wake up the number of people needed to end this shit.

109 Nope, no "break".  Any more than there has been during the last 20 years.
Trump was the backlash.  Threaded a needle to barely win in 2016.  After which the "system" rose up and neutered him as much as possible, illustrating how far gone things are.  And despite his incredibly successful presidency (by any standard), he was shunted aside (legitimately? seems implausible, but that the question needs to be asked and that it's hard to figure out is the nukyler clue-bat reminding all how far gone the institutions and much of the populace are).
When suburban parents meekly and silently accept major damage to their kids' educations - as they have - there's your index of how passive, clueless, submissive, miseducated, and un-American a major, possibly controlling, portion of the populace has become.
Violence is already happening, where it usually does.  No "break" in prospect, just more, a lot more, of the same.

This is prudent and very sadly necessary. Some years ago, the IEEE put in place RFC 4010401, titled "Hyper Text Physical Transmission Control Protocol." From that RFC abstract:
With the growth of telecommuting, it may be useful to use existing hyper text and Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure to transmit small amounts of physical matter through the network. Identity tokens and other security collateral could be transmitted to remote employees.

The HTPTC Protocol allows very small-scale physical material to be transmitted through existing electronic data lines for direct consumption by the terminal or for serialized reconstruction. Serialized reconstruction depends on existing TCP/IP control protocols to ensure packet ordering. Hardware that does reconstruction will require endpoint devices that perform reassembly from local materials ....

The idiots never considered that is stupid and that it would allow the transmission of biological agents over the internet.

(this was all sarcasm and intended to be humorous - this is, of course, entirely fake)

Preference cascade is something where a particular event occurs that crystallizes unity of purpose and blame. It is somewhat similar to a known fault line that is building up strain because it cannot move.  Once the rocks along the fault line reach their deformation limit, they snap causing an earthquake.

Part of the reason that the Democrats wanted Trump out is that he was causing average people's wages to increase which was depressing the racialist rhetoric that the PTB use to divide the US.  A full employment society with demand pull inflation of labor wages is one of the best outcomes a republic can exhibit as success.

Yup. Preference cascades need to be avoided, subverted or usurped. The Party Complex in this country is doing a little bit of all of it. They're avoiding the cascade that started under Trump (they derailed it with the 'Vid response and all the obstruction) and they're usurping some others. Masks, for example.

It isn't the same everywhere, but I am seeing fewer masks in my area every time I go out. There are still lots of masked people, but in a lot of places it's approaching 50-50. The preference cascade is moving the other direction. This one will be usurped (we did a good job!) because it can't be avoided.

Without voting fraud we would be a very different (and better) country.

This is an incredibly true statement.  There is no doubt in my mind that the Democrats have stolen 100s or 1000s of elected offices on all levels dating back, at least in my mind, to JFK.  The culmination being 2020, when they brazenly stole the presidency by organizing massive fraud in several key states.  I still can't believe it was allowed to stand.  Yet here we are, with a braindead retard as "president" and his whore of a VP simply biding her time to sit in the Oval Office.  None of it won.  None of it deserved.  It makes me so sick to my stomach, it's hard to really process.

164 Rhomboid,  Not necessarily true, trends continue until they can't anymore and Harold MacMillian put his finger on what causes these political earthquakes as events.      Trump was the peaceful backlash against HRC but when the ballot box does not work anymore, the chances for a major political crisis increases dramatically that would usually be coupled with some event.  Risking war with Russia over the Ukraine or China over Taiwan would be such an event. A vanishing reserve currency status would be such an event.  Worldwide severe recession or depression would be such an event. Another mishandled pandemic might do it as well.
It has been true of places around the globe and no reason to assume that the US or the West for that matter is any different. It does not mean that the unrest will be successful necessarily, see Iran for example, but even there, it forced the regime to take steps toward softening the resistance and they were and are much more authoritarian than us and without widespread private ownership of firearms.  If that had been the case in 2008, I doubt that the regime would have survived.

Posted by: Xipe Totec at April 06, 2021 11:59 AM (o2MD2)
There is a very obvious reason for this: China. One of the things Trump did was put China front and center as our primary adversary. He was right to do so, but boy did it piss off the Chinese. Add in the 'Rona and its Chinese origins that everyone knows about even if "polite company" doesn't mention it, and it's even worse.

Red China is not stupid, and neither is the CCP. You can be sure they have their hands in this. Whip up press coverage of any Asian who gets hurt, encourage their street gangsters to go after Asians, and square the circle of "oppressed minority" on one side and "racial justice" on the other.

Soon, the deliberate conflation will begin. When it does, the narrative will be something like "criticizing Red China is racist, just like all those other White Supremacist attacks on Asians that we've been reporting about for months."

It's all about China.

173 There's nothing wrong with preference cascades and they happen very quickly.  There was one during the Vietnam war, mid 60s, when people turned against it. Don't know if it was right or wrong, it was a noticeable major shift. And I read a book about Britain in the run up to WWI. Same thing, preference changed in favor of the war.
It's hard for me to judge how people feel about Wuflu out here in Emperor Inslee's playground. I know traffic at the local Home Depot was normal on Sunday. I see fewer masks, but this area is still nuts because they keep saying there's a new spike in cases. I think a lot of folks are getting fed up with the *honk honk* current administration, which is why they decided to work on the wall. But there hasn't been a total shift against it.

178 The theme song to Justified was the only wrong note in the show.  Its a show about super rural back woods Kaintuck hill dwellers with... a rap song by a bunch of black guys.  Its like that crappy sappy Enterprise theme song by Kenny G or whatever.

I could kind of handle the Sopranos doing a more urban song, they're in big city New Jersey but... still a bit of an odd note for a show about a bunch of traditional Italian mobsters.

Posted by: Lady in Black at April 06, 2021 12:02 PM (O+I8R)
Anti-white violence is just the oppressed minority's manifestation of justice. White privilege is part and parcel with white fragility, and this permanent relationship - privilege and fragility being a mandatory binary - provides the non-privileged with a means to effect real change.

Targeted, moderate violence against an oppressor group is understandable and indeed it is an inevitable conclusion due to historical oppression. There is no need for corporate sensitivity training about this topic, since it is merely the inevitable manifestation of history as it continues its arc toward progress.

201 173There's nothing wrong with preference cascades and they happen very quickly. There was one during the Vietnam war, mid 60s, when people turned against it. Posted by:Notsothoreau
You are correct and one of the interesting things about that preference cascade was that it was driven by the liberals and the conservatives, not the mushy middle.  Conservatives, by and large, were supporting a Jacksonian of fighting to win or withdraw (part of the reason Nixon was elected over Humphrey), Liberals wanted to withdraw.  So when it became apparent that the US strategy was to repeat Korea with no clear victory, public support collapsed for US forces to remain in Vietnam.  Nixon's pivot to China was part of that process for his 'peace with honor' and on the other hand, the Linebacker I and II bombings of N. Vietnam which gave him a huge reelection victory after he announced the Peace Treaty.
A good politician surfs on public opinion at the right time.

221 Well, Yogi Berra and all, but also this topic becomes instantly so diffuse and ill-defined that it becomes meaningless.
Of course if somehow the US dollar's reserve currency status were threatened, then who knows - but that's such an implausible scenario at the moment (sadly - but inertia is the greatest force in nature and any rival currencies have been getting *more* unreliable in recent years, so there's simply no competition), that it's sort of like assuming there's an extra-terrestial alien invasion or something.
2008 was a pretty big deal.  Response was very poor, but most didn't understand, some did, Tea Party revolt, revolt easily absorbed/neutralized.  Not a trace of a hint of a suggestion of any disorder or violence breaking out.
The last year, C19 and election, were bigger actual provocations than all the scenarios I see tossed out as triggers.  And looking around, I don't see a hint of a trace of a rumor of anything other than ..... most slogging along as usual.  With the Gleichschaltung reaching comically extreme dimensions:  airlines lecturing the country on election process??  WTFF??
There may be dark amusement ahead - say that Durham prosecutes some big names and the case reveals that everything many of us have long known to the wider public (well, to the degree it's not suppressed in this "open" society, lol).  A few of the dim will be shocked, most won't care, nothing will change.  No torches, no digging into those battle packs of .308 stored securely.
