Her Majesty, Delilah and The Beast are in Russellville, AR at a nice campground on Lake Dardanelle. They'll spend tonight and tomorrow night there before going up to northeast Oklahoma for four days of shows.

Poor Lila was worked hard yesterday, which may be why she fell just short of winning her second BIS. It was hot and she had four appearances in the ring in the space of about 30 minutes.

25 Hey everybody! Hey ace!

I just read that, despite all the damage and bad blood between them, William is going to forgo wearing his military uniform (which he is entitled to do) at Price Phillip's funeral, out of respect for Harry who's not allowed to wear his military insignia any longer now that Meghan forced him out of royal duties.  (Harry supposedly has thrown fits at other royal engagements when William was still treated as royal and he wasn't.)

I'm not saying their relationship is a tiny bit similar to Michael and Fredo Corleone's sibling relationship, but I hear William asked Harry to join him fishing after the funeral. :-P

According to the person occupying the office of the Attorney General, its OK to Burn Loot and Murder at dark because the buildings are unoccupied.
Its only a felony when it happens during regular business hours.   The curfew makes sure that the definition of "regular business hours" doesn't include time after sunset.

66 Today's Townsends YouTube channel had a program on the apothecary in St. Augustine, FL, the materials used, how they were prepared, and what they treated. I found it fascinating. Turns out many of the materials used in the 17th and 18th centuries are still in some use today. And except for opium and lavender, the man grew everything in his adjacent garden. Worth the 17 minutes it took to watch.
Just FYI.

78 @58: "T minus 7 minutes until the riot starts."

Based on my direct observations last year, we'll see a whole bunch of thrill seeking lookie-loos cruising the streets until an hour after sundown, so roughly 9pm this time of year, but it was later last summer. Roughly same time as we'll begin hearing National Guard choppers doing laps up above. Then sketchy folks start doing quick circles around town to judge security and scope out targets. Police won't be pulling over random cars breaking curfew. Casual, individual looters will start sometime around 11pm, but the serious, multi-car caravans of looters wait until 1am, after they think folks have been lulled into a false sense of security by the initial quiet.

I doesn't sound gay at all if one is familiar with the Biblical story or doesn't know gay slang.
And the only thing that might be "gay" about it is that it shows men running. They're in the Olympics and both main male characters have female love interests and both men were married and had kids in real life.

100 Interesting development here Sunday night.  My cat, Ghost, was born feral, but has been an indoor cat since he was about six months old.  Well, Sunday night he snuck out when the dog had to make a potty trip.  I didn't notice until the cat came in the next morning.
It seems he's decided he likes the outdoors.  He'll come in briefly for food and water, but otherwise he'd much rather be out laying in the sun, or under the ramp we had so our last dog could get up and down the back steps.  Otherwise, he refuses to come in, and there's no way I can catch him if he won't come in voluntarily.
::Sigh:: He's neutered, so he probably won't roam far, and he has his claws, so he isn't defenseless, so I guess I have to live with it, and ask St. Gertrude to keep an eye on him.

Some guy on YT used interpolation software to take his animations from 24 to 120 fps. I always thought something about the jerkiness gave the animations an eerie quality - and I'm not entirely convinced his software completely eliminates it - but it's interesting to see: https://youtu.be/hgCw0YRMFHY

Glorious Community Overlord Jacob Frey made that decision the first time around when he let them burn down the 3rd Precinct building.  It's mob rule from here on out, kids!

I should probably feel worse than I do about it, but I really don't.  They had plenty of opportunities to turn this around, but Minnesota in general has worked very hard for the constant riots that they now endure.  I would know; I watched it happen for ten years.  Fuckem.

135 We are headed to a time no one will want to become a police officer. The good part is the Communist areas will get to test it out first.
Which is perfectly fine by me.  Police exists to be the violent arm of the city's agenda;  to protect criminals from Normals so that all crimes don't become capital crimes;  to be Quality of Life janitors.
Its the latter role that the city aims to remove or at least hopelessly frustrate.

178 andycanuck, I should have mentioned it, they're in a vibratory tumbler.  Use it to clean my brass (for that I add some mineral spirits to cut scorching/powder stains, and some NuFinish liquid car wax to give the cases a smooth easy to handle feel).  Used dryer anti-static sheets to suppress dust.

Buy a 10-lb bag of the walnut shell at a pet store every 5 or 6 years.  Toss it as it gets too dirty.  Dies are in "clean" stuff, that I use only to remove lube from cases that require it during the reloading process.  I think corn cob media provides a higher shine, but walnut's very cheap and available.

189 We will then see what kind of military the left has been growing the past 25 years.
We saw glimpses of it when the kids in the P-3 Orion were forced to land and they gave up all of their intel to the Communist Chinese.   Then, of course, we learn that they quickly surrender and cry to Iranians in ski-boats,  won't bother to show up to a fight when their Benghazi embassy is under attack;  won't do anything to protect the border; will quickly and easily lie to the CiC;  don't have a problem with a coup d'etat happening right under their nose - in fact they will jump in and support it; the list goes on.
Basically the military is fully captured by the CIA, State Department and the Democrat Party - so most training has to do with Struggle Sessions, and how to become a sexual deviant.

I don't think anyone is worried, or should have cause to worry.  Staffed by Millennials.   Enough said.

One of my cats - Julius Caesar - decided that in his youth and after a time when he dashed out the garage door as I was driving in I started letting him out when I got home most days.  Somehow we came to an understanding and if he got out a few days a week he was content.  He was killed by a coyote after a dozen years of this or so, but he was a happy fellow until then.

Lunds was way ahead of the curve though. They began at 9am sharp, and it looks like they've got their own in-house crew, unlike everyone else who outsources, including Target. My gut says tonight will be fine, but if Walz doesn't keep National Guard on the street every night from here on out until end of the Chauvin trial, then I expect things will get sporty in no time flat. Looters will be out looking for targets every night for the foreseeable future.

I just remember that the same people pushing the vaccine have told me for years that I'm deplorable, unreemable, non-essential, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe, bitter clinger, worthy only of death or violent anal rape in prison; that I should be in a concentration camp.   I fully understand their deep desire to have me killed.
They also demand over everything else, abortion on demand, euthanasia, eugenics, deprivation, to be sacrificed for the climate, cancelled for what I think, killed for having faith in something other than government.
Every day, they lie to me about everything, they tax, regulate, micro-manage, threaten and harass,  even destroy my livelihood on a whim and fancy.
And I'm supposed to believe that this "vaccine" is in my best interest.

Heh, but no. They're one of the fancy local grocery store chains in the Twin Cities. Last year, my nearby store got looted something awful, and closed for several days while they replaced the entire store stock for insurance and liability reasons. One of the looters took bags of flour from the bakery and threw it all over the store. You could see footprints in white dust on the floor from the street. It felt like something outta the old '60s Batman show. Absurd mayhem of a sort.

283 I never liked those dumb hack and slash movies of the 1980s.  They were boring and predictable.  Not scary at all.
Yesterday, Hubbymayhem and I watched Willie's Wonderland.   I could not stop laughing. This is Nicolas Cage and a bunch of people I've never seen before in a parody of those 80s movies.  Cage never says a word.  All the tropes are there.  Teenagers who split up to search the creepy building, serial killers, satanic rituals..... This movie has it all!  They are even releasing this gem on VHS!

343 So way off topic since way past 100:

To do a MINT Linux install in a two disk system with WIN10 on sda, how do you get the install to leave sda alone and put grub and the MINT install on sdb, or does it make any difference. If I opt for the easy looking options it appears to put everything on sda (grub and WIN10 + partitioned MINT all on sda)!

Posted by: Commissar Hrothgar

I haven't done this with Mint, but I think when you get to the screen where it asks where you want to install it, you click Something Else to get to full options.  That should let you install on sdb but still put the boot menu on sda.

Did you dive?  We were slated to do a dive (for that weird fresh water/on top of ocean water experience), but ..... weather.  As happened a lot.  My friend had scheduled about 20+ different activities for our month there, we ended up doing about 17, which isn't bad.  Longest hike, we started in sunny 70s weather, was snowing by lunch.  When the Antarctic and the Coral Sea are the two sources of your weather, it can be interesting.
