— Dave in Texas I never felt so out of place in my life.
Well, except for dodgeball callin, in 8th grade.
I caucused (did I spell that correctly) tonight. There were 17 delegates at stake in my whole county, I think we pick 2.7 of those fuckers.
54.6% against 46.6% for Obamarama. UPDATE: ok, 45. something Whatever the hell she said.
That's a rough shot at 77 goobers caucusing. Rules simplified, 70% counts from the ballots cast, 30% from that dorkwad meeting I just left.
I should not have worn a white button down shirt. I was definitely THE MAN.
So that's how my county is caucussing. On the way home I heard Huck "I KILLED THE MORMON" giving it up.
fucker.
So that was my Tuesday night, tolls and traffic from Big D.

— Ace The interviews cover all the major topics important to female bloggers, including gardening, periods, collecting and positioning Hummel gnomes, the menses, nagging your man until he goes into the garage and hangs himself with a 25 foot utility cord, and also issues of female health (i.e., menstruation).
No, seriously, it's an interesting and revealing look at five of the world's top female (conservative-leaning) bloggers.
I guess. I'm sure the hell not reading it. Quite frankly I have a successful female blogger on staff here and she never stops with the yip-yap yammering. I can't even hear myself fucking think.
I'll tell you what I need. Three things: a stiff drink, a gym sock full of marbles, and an excuse.
The next Super Bowl can't come fast enough, if you know what I'm saying, and I think you do.

Update: Huckabee's Camp Announces Concession
— Ace Not unexpected.
More at Hot Air, including the somewhat less surprising news that Huckabee may concede tomorrow.
Then again, he didn't study math, he studied miracles.
Eh, that seems churlish. Good campaign, Mike.
On Political Virility... Cuffy runs down famous crotch-shots of the past.
Once he adds Al Gore's famous Rolling Stone earth-tones-and-visible-erection cover, it'll be perfect.
Huckabee Drops Out: FoxNews reporting now the Hucakbee camp has decided to fold up the revival tent.
Churlish again. Good campaign. I guess.

— Russ from Winterset This is Russ' wife, The Lovely Janis, hijacking his posting privileges at least for one night. So please be kind and patient as my typing and spelling may be a little off and Russ-- you can't saying anything about what I write as you gave me free rein here ...
You see Russ has been sick the last few weeks and being a man has thwarted my suggestions on going to the doctor . . . until today. He finally felt crappy enough to go and guess what --he's in the hospital. He has bronchitis but that is not why he is in the hospital. His blood sugar level was 700!!! 200 and below is normal. LetÂ’s just say the symptoms have been there for at least 3-4 weeks and he is very lucky he isn't in a diabetic coma. The doctor has diagnosed diabetes, but we will see how he responds to treatment at the hospital and how well he can change his diet, activity level and such.

— Dave in Texas Yep.
That's what I did. I buy into the theory that keeping this thing going wounds them. Let it ride.
Let it ride.
The sweet ladies at St. Goobers (I'm making this name up) Church where I've been voting since 1991 all recognized me without my voter card. And I was on the rolls.
Should I go back and caucus tonight?

— Gabriel Malor Whether they know it or not, bloggers confront copyright issues every time they publish a post. If they've copied and quoted text, the odds are very good that the copied text was someone else's copyrighted work. The same is true if they've displayed a photograph, graphic, or other image that they found on the internet. And, of course, what a blogger writes is generally his or her own copyrighted work with all the protections that status implies.
Those protections include the exclusive rights to copy, distribute, and display the copyrighted work. So where does that leave us if, say, we want to discuss a recent article in the Washington Post or to titter over a photograph of the drunken débutante of the week? The answer is Fair Use. The fair use doctrine provides that some limited use of copyrighted material is permitted even though it is unauthorized.
Fair use isn't, however, carte blanche to take the copyrighted works of others. And it's not always easy to tell just how much copying fair use will cover. At the suggestion of Brian Ledbetter, of the recent snapped shot copyright dispute, I have pulled together some guidelines for bloggers on copyright and fair use. One of the reasons I'm so insistent about explaining fair use when it comes up is that many well-meaning people have been led to believe that it protects their activities when it doesn't. By correcting the more common misunderstandings, I hope we can limit the damage, if you will, among bloggers and blog-readers, and get on with what we like to do. more...

— Dave in Texas Odd, I guess. Or no.
He paid $62.50 for it in 1960. A .38 caliber snub.
Its owner, Florida real estate developer Anthony Pugliese III, declined to divulge his minimum auction price, other than to say it is more than $1 million.Mr. Pugliese, who bought the gun for $220,000 in 1991, is happy to talk about almost everything else.
The starting bid price is one meelyun dollars.
The gun.

The guy on the wrong end..

— Ace Good NiGht, Hilary.
Compare: The screen-grab as it originally appeared to the same pic, sorta, as it appears on Hillary's website.

I don't know if this is going to work, Hills. No matter how much you darken him up, he still basically looks like C. Thomas Howell in Soul Man, and he was such a nice boy.
Thanks to Slublog the Magnificent, who says of this post: "It's like liberal Rathergate over there."
The only caution is that, you know, pics can change as you save them in different formats.
That said, there is a lot of darkening going on here. A lot of graying, too, as the healthier glow of his skin is replaced with gray. And: Yes, the "squishing" of his face to give him the flatter, broader sort of nose one usually associates with black people. Now that, together with the darkening, starts to look deliberate.
Was it intentional? I think photoshop experts are going to have to study these pics to find out if there's a real, provable deliberate manipulation of color or if it's all just a happy accident for Hillary.

— Ace No justice, no piece?
Keep your agenda off my pudenda?
Take back the streetwalkers?
I think those would make good placards, but they're absent here.
Eh. No one's paying them to be clever, you know.
Thanks to Liberrocky, and yes, I am now doing dirty posts just to offset that stinking cesspit of dorkery I posted below.
