Climate "scientist" AlGore cites: Gore is makin that shit up
— Purple Avenger

The London Time reports:

...In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”...
Dr. Maslowski responded:
“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,”
AlGore's disingenuous scare mongering propagandistic fabrications? Leni Riefenstahl tweets: "Definitely a solid B+ effort on Gore's part, but I could have done it better."

The guy pictured below the fold just emailed me to say AlGore is full of shit and that he's fresher than Al's data.

But now Al Gore says that those guys are wrong, and the warming will pick up again any day now.

40 THE SECOND COMING

    Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

    Surely some revelation is at hand;
    Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
    The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
    When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
    Troubles my sight: a waste of desert sand;
    A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
    A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
    Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
    Wind shadows of the indignant desert birds.
    The darkness drops again but now I know
    That twenty centuries of stony sleep
    Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
    And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
    Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

MANBEARPIG!

43 If the Artic will be ice free in a few years it's going to be positively balmy up there during the summer. And if it's that hot in the Artic, it will be unbearable at the equator. So Gore would be happy to take the following bet: in 5 years I'll spend 24 hours outdoors at the equator during the height of the summer/winter and the Goracle can park his ass at the North Pole (in a boat, hardee har) in the middle of the winter for the same amount of time. Any clothes you want but no heat, no air conditioning. We both change our life insurance to make the other as sole benificiary (okay, that needs work as my hobo sack hardly compares to the Goracle's various palaces). How big is that house boat again?

83 We really are witnessing the birth of a new religion.

Things will happen a little faster than typical of past faiths, but it's unmistakable.

The impending loss of Arctic ice will be one of those points of contention among branches of the Church for the next millenium, some will claim it's imminent, some will claim "5-7 years" per Saint Albert The Fat, some will claim it'll be sometime off in the future but no one knows quite when.

The IPCC may be able to hold on as the Vatican of the Warmists for now, but it'll likely lose out to some more fundamentalist institution at some point, at least for a thousand years or so, that'll canonify the teachings into a holy scripture.

85 Of course Gore has a history of misrepresenting other people.  In the 1992 VP debates it was brought up that one of Gore's mentors (Revelle) disagreed with Gore's book (Earth in the Balance) and felt that acting too quickly against global warming might not be the prudent thing to do. When Gore tries to explain this away, the audience reacted very negatively to it, actually hissing/booing him, I remember it well.  The shocked look on Gore's face was priceless.

Here's the relevant part of the transcript:

http://tinyurl.com/yanf2r4

STOCKDALE: I know that -- I read where Senator Gore's mentor had disagree with some of the scientific data that is in his book. How do you respond to those criticisms of that sort? Do you --

QUAYLE: Deny it.

GORE: Well --

(Laughter.)

STOCKDALE: Do you take this into account?

(Laughter.)

GORE: No, I -- let me respond. Thank you, Admiral, for saying that. You're talking about Roger Revelle. His family wrote a lengthy letter saying how terribly he had been misquoted and had his remarks taken completely out of context just before he died.

(Jeers.)

He believed up until the day he died -- no, it's true, he died last year --

BRUNO: I'd ask the audience to stop, please.

GORE: -- and just before he died, he co- authored an article which was -- had statements taken completely out of context. In fact the vast majority of the world's scientists -- and they have worked on this extensively -- believe that we must have an effort to face up to the problems we face with the environment.

Regarding your climate hero ex-Gov. Palin: In an administrative order Sarah Palin signed in September 2007 as governor of Alaska, she joined other leaders in acknowledging that warming is a "global challenge", wanted govt officials to search for "opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions”, and explore ways to "participate in carbon-trading markets." Her order established a "sub-Cabinet" of top state officials to develop a strategy for dealing with climate change.

It is coming to an end being there are apparently enough rubes on the planet to keep this con job going, fueled by such comments made by Gore and other "paid for" scientists that are so far fetched and fantasy like that the people of the world really have to have a missing gene or other vital biological component to actually believe whats coming from their mouths.
