I would be happy to judge them by today's norms. The respected the rule of lawn so for instance they would have accepted the ambition of slavery by legal means and most would have embraced it.

I'm still not sure if the inevitable move to socialism and outright communism would've been more palatable without Trump ripping the masks off. I've decided I'm glad he did it since it gives us clarity and understanding of what the Democrats are absolutely doing now, but there's no denying that there was comfort back when we could still support the illusion that your vote mattered and that Americans loved and respected each other despite their differences, and darnit Bush is a well-meaning but bumbling fool and Hillary is wrong-headed but they both still love America and are trying to do what's best for Americans.

It boggles the mind -- this is not like deciding between lepers and non-lepers. Add to it that it's likely a good portion of thise unvaccinated people had no say in it, that they were not at the head of the line to get it because they are not politically connected, not in a high-risk demographic, not a first responder, not the right race (see Vermont), etc. They are now being punished, possibly consigned to an ugly, fiery death, because of someone else's decision about them getting that stupid vaccine. I realized after I posted that Frederick isn't really west, it's more north - north west of where I used to live (Wheaton.) But back in the 70's it was considered by us to be "rural." I'd presume the I-70 corridor looks like Rockville to Gaithersburg all the way up to Frederick.

It is not possible to be more wrong. The 2nd was composed at the same time they were battling over slavery and came up with the three fifths compromise. "White Supremacy" is a concept conjured up among the late 20th century Marxist academics and has no support in history; if anything, they should look at Darwin, a century later.
It was the Democrats who first infringed upon the 2nd Amendment specifically to deny freed slaves firearms, for the exact reason Sexton is libeling the Framers. Democrats also usurped God and claimed that they can redefine marriage under their racist terms and wrote laws banning interracial marriage specifically to harm freed slaves.
The Democrats have, from the very beginning been about segregation, bigotry, banning and writing laws to hurt people other than themselves.
