Happy New Year, indeed! In case anyone forgot, Ralph Peters reminds us:
"It's showtime, folks! Today's the deadline President Obama imposed on Iran's leaders to give up their nuclear ambitions and be nice.
Not sure if the deadline expires at midnight in Tehran or on Washington time, but the mullahs and President Mahmoud "Mighty Mouse" Ahmadinejad aren't scrambling to give Obama a New Year's Eve smooch."

It seems we are already defeated......NOT!
No actually I didn't mention parties because some of us are expatriot, i.e. we are frustrated and disgruntled with the GOP and no longer feel represented by it. That is not to suggest that we can't go out on our own expressing our ideology and thereafter manage to still convince our peers. I've got hope. Actually a lot of it. Happy New Decade!

The wife and I saw Avatar in 3D tonight. It was awesome.
Disregard all the insecure douchers complaining about how Cameron went all left-wing asshole on it.
Sure, he did.
That doesn't mean the movie must suck. We already know Commie-wood is rife with left wing ideologues. Why not just sit back and enjoy the ride in this instance? Is Avatar really the film that will push "the undecided" over the edge into left-wing iconography? Probably not. Thankfully, the young and the idiots often fail to recognize when they're being pandered to. Better yet, they reflexively rebel against anything that aligns with them. So, enjoy Avatar. It's a great film. And it panders so much to the left that those idiots can't help but rebel against the sentiment that embraces them.

Folks, they always play Imagine at New Year's Eve in Times Sqaure. This isn't new, those bastards have been doing it for years now and saying, "See? It's a TRADITION." Like those pukes ever cared for a tradition before.
But if you have to force an atheist anthem on us and cravenly enshrine it in that thing you hate (damn they are evil puke bastards), it might as well be Imagine. A more laughingly naive anthem can scarely be, well, imagined.
I suggested to them at one point to adopt another subversive anthem, instead: Cheech & Chong's "Save the Whales but Club the Seals." Didn't go for it, tho.

JDW, I'm not refusing to go see Avatar because I fear it, because I fear the effect it may have on other people, or push some fool over this or that "edge".
Avatar is a special-effects vehicle with a big money hype about being a cultural happening, and that's what its strengths are. Underneath that, Hollywood has once again seen fit to anchor it on its peculiar political agenda in a once again "tansparently obvious stealth mode". That's simply offensive on its most basic level. I'm not going to pay inflated ticket prices to humor the charlatans who will not stop this charade.
I'm not going to be their sucker anymore. I'm not going to sit there beguiled by the smoke and mirror wizardy and think that's rewarding enough to sit through the teaching moments they've got planned for me. I'm not going to let them insult my intelligence like that anymore.
They will make good entertainment products, or they will not get my business. I'll wait till it comes out for a dollar at the red kiosk, and if I still find it interesting, and I probably will not, I'll check it out. At that point, some will say, "Ah, but you've missed the real Avatar because you didnt see it on the big screen."
But I beg to differ. I will have seen the real Avatar. Not the phoney one.

Except this Blue Moon New Year's Eve, the biggest holiday in Russia, Father Frost and his 82-year-old lady elf were arrested, thrown in a caddy wagon and imprisoned for peacefully protesting at their Christmas Tree. Pro-Putin Marxists dancing to holiday music celebrated the old folks getting carted off by the police.
A coalition of opposition groups organised the December 31 rally to defend their right to protest, as enshrined under Article 31 of the Russian constitution. Unsanctioned rallies are one of the few outlets for Russia's weak and fragmented opposition. "Down with Putinism, Freedom to Russia," one protester shouted from the window of a bus being driven to a local police station, a reference to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. The opposition say Putin was the architect of a major clampdown on civil liberties in Russia during his presidency from 2000-2008, and shouted "shame" as police detained several elderly people. Pro-Kremlin activists danced to holiday music as police made their arrests.

You had to catch Kay Bailey Hutchison's call yesterday on your show begging for your endorsement.
When your guest host mentioned PROFILING, she gulped so hard and started tap dancing so fast, she finally got startled out of her placated sedated state. No, she would not touch the word "profile". Her attempt to become TX Gov. is to allow the old boy globalist network to whip Texans back into peons, break our will to be independent Americans. She won't provide Texans improved highways. Instead, she will push for a dysfunctional passenger railway system--ask Austin how that's NOT coming along, rail system built and paid for YET NOT OPERATIONAL though taxes are raised and raised; and tolls are raised and raised again on the "new" old pre-existing highways (183) . Timed traffic signals work magnificently so long as it's a flat terrain with square blocks of straight streets--Phoenix timed @ 45mph for instance. Offering timed lights in the convoluted Austin area is a worthless "solution", KBH.
Notice, what Republican media that exists seems to back Cheney's choice. Do recall that NAFTA got enforced into place via Bush/Cheney; along with amnesty for illegal aliens, and conservative Americans getting called "vigilantes", and the DHS boondoggle that only needed an idiot to exploit, and the Treasury Czar being made untouchable by ANYONE (unconstitutional) and of course TARP--all Cheney gifts that hurt conservatives nationally as well as harming Texans in particular.
So, here's hoping that Rush looks into the GOP hatchet job going on in TX politics FROM WASHINGTONIANS. That would be interesting material, indeed.
