— DrewM Bunch of meh games except for tomorrow night's showdown in NOLA.
The Steelers & Ravens would have been a good one but Big Ben is out, so it's lost some luster.

The Texans are forever destined to be a 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7 team.
For. Ever.
there's no getting around this fact. it is their fate.

McNabb just sealed the She-gles doom. Oh, hold on, its the Skins I'm talking about, they'll find a way to lose.
Posted by: Blazer at November 29, 2009 11:32 AM (+FzLa)
Blazer, today I am a huge 'skins fan. Does that mean I have to suffer all the angst, though?
Posted by: Dang Straights at November 29, 2009 03:34 PM (bOV32)

Ye of little faith.
The refs are doing everything possible to ensure the Colts stay undefeated.
Ah, the pussy whining has started.

Bacon porn just in time for the Grey Cup championship today. (And alot of AGW-CRU items at Tim Blair's as well.)

This is where the Eagles take it to the house and the Redskins will burn up all their time outs and then try to put together a drive with less than two minutes on the clock. It ends the same way every week.

Blazer, this being a 'skins fan sucks a lot like being a Cowboys fan.

'Cept the Cowboys usually win!!
Mind you, they could still end up 8-8.

From a commenter at Kate's:
Computer models project outcome: "Based on pre-adjusted historical data, the Toronto Argonauts should win. But after the adjustments, I'm calling a win for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Toronto today."

Are you high? The Skins will whip the Cowboys in D.C. and the Boys will lose their first playoff game. Bank on it.
Posted by: Blazer at November 29, 2009 12:55 PM (+FzLa)
True, past glory is sweet. And 6 rings is very impressive.
But pwning the Steelers at Heinz . . . priceless.
Looking forward to tonight's game [20:20 hrs].
It should be fun.

Drunkish.
With the Boy's schedule, if they can't beat the Skins, the playoffs shouldn't be a concern.

The Boys allowed the Skins to shut them out for three-and a half quarters last Sunday in the Jerruh Dome. The rest of their schedule is brutal. Its a very real possibility they could lose four out of their next five games and go 9 and 7 if not 8-8.
Posted by: Blazer at November 29, 2009 01:16 PM (+FzLa)
Or they could go 13-3.
Who knows what team is going to show up.
The D has been solid every week. That gives them a chance at least.

I'm probably done for in the other league, but Sims-Walker often gets his points late in the game so who knows?

Alex Smith is lighting the place up. Now I have to sign ANOTHER qb though because Ryan got hurt. Those toe problems last all season, too.
Wonder if this Favruh kid is available, he's a pretty good ballplayer.

My Cowboys won on Turkey day. I tried out being a 'skins fan and got my teeth kicked in, it was pretty special.
Houston really needs to make a change in their front office, they're just clueless in games. Mike Shanahan could take them deep into the playoffs.
Posted by: Dang Straights at November 29, 2009 04:09 PM (bOV32)
They won!! Wooohooo!
You know, I was steaming about next week's trip to Toronto as usual, when ESPN showed highlights of what I perceived to be the Bills-Fins game. My thought process went as follows: "huh, those are the Bills all right but what's with the Fins' jerseys? ...wait, I thought we won the game, this looks like we're losing..."
It was at that point that ESPN revealed that it was the Grey Cup game and the ugly Bills road unis were actually those of the Montreal Alouettes.
That's just mean, ESPN.
