So we'll have Al Davis and Dan Snyder in the same stadium today. The Bay Area is likely to implode from all of that weapons grade suck being together in one place at one time.

+1
Is there any chance old Al will have learned some sort of lesson from Gradowski's performance?

Alright, last chance to get me to post something else before I step out for the day. Anything doin'?

How about we change those Cowboy's cheerleaders to Redskin's cheerleaders?

They're going crazy in a meaningless game in December. Great for fantasy, means nothing for the playoffs. The entire Texans front office needs to get the boot.
Posted by: Dang Straights at December 13, 2009 09:55 AM (bOV32)
cool, i always loved the varina and highland springs football rivalry, best games in town,
Posted by: trailortrash at December 13, 2009 01:53 PM (2Z+7j)
Yep. My oldest son is a Junior at HSHS now. We go to the games together although the rivalry ain't what it used to be.

If Illinois gets the Gitmo detainees, teh Bears might benefit if any of those guys know how to run a frickin pass route without falling on their face.
Posted by: Big Fat Meanie at December 13, 2009 01:57 PM (DPM1U)
They could probably all run a good pass route. The problem would be getting to the goal line for a TD before the C-4 goes off.

Hey ya'll
I usually have to go to BW3s to watch the Colts living in Bengals country. I have too much stuff to do around the house. Looks like I'm missing on helluva whooping. Dam.
And this Benglas game is not even interesting. Flags/pentalties abound.

--On the face of it, that says to me that they can't handle pressure. They play loose and very well when the game means nothing, but when they had a shot at the playoffs they continually whiffed. That sounds more like a coaching problem (and the placekicker should probably change as well --Brown missed some crucial and makeable kicks).

Did anyone see Face the Nation this morning? Nelson poo-poo'd the compromise on health care calling it a single payer. Odd considering he was in the loop for the compromise.

Peaches, I didn't see it. I'll try to check it on rerun. I *love* Liz. She makes the nutroots go rabid almost as much as the Cuda does. Almost.

Probably the most idiotic thing ever to hit the airwaves. You will shed I.Q. points for every second you watch it.
In other news, looks like Lieberman and Nelson are going to vote no on Reid's medicare compromise.
Posted by: Blazer at December 13, 2009 10:54 AM (+FzLa)
In my defense I only watched it for 10 mins. I do like the guy that calls himself "The Situation". Everything is, well you know, a situations. He seems to get himself in a few precarious situations. Good.Lord.
As for the hc bill, I'll believe it when I see it of course. And Nelson is trying to backpeddle his involvement with the compromise saying he was just a visitor to a friendly conversatotion. Uh huh.

I thought I would "drive by" with a relevant update on climate science, given my short and distinguished career as a climate scientist.
As you can see from the photo above, warming of the world caused some people to wear less clothing so not only should we embrace global warming as a net positive, we should also do all we can to cause even more as, if my theory is correct, the lovely ladies in the photo above would look even better with considerably less clothing.
Someone should also beat the holy bat shit out of AlGore.
I'm off to drive the diesel.

Why do they keep making movies like this?

All 4 of them had a chance to either tie or go ahead at the end of the game and all 4 failed miserably.

Posted by: Y-not at December 13, 2009 01:52 PM (sey23)
It's in the 50s and kind of cloudy in Houston, in other words a great day for football outside. So what do the Texans do? Close the roof and play the game in a garage because their candyass fans might complain about the cold.
I can't stand people who freak out when it gets below 70 degrees outside.

Crosstown shootout here between #16 UC and no rank Xavier. A good match-up always regardless of rankings.
Okay I'll carry on that conversation with myself as I can guarantee no one gives a rip but myself!
Carry on....

Feel a little sorry for Wade. He is well liked and respected here, even by his ex-players here.
Jerry Jones? He can go choke on his ego.

Wade Phillips is mildly retarded. Jerrah Jones is no better than any other Arkansas democrat as far as I'm concerned. He can die painfully and slowly, hopefully soon.
I have Startrek: Generations on an independent, I'm golden until kickoff, even if it is the 2nd worst ST movie in the franchise.
