Sen. Inhofe To Mrs. Boxer: "Get A Life"
— DrewM

Heh.

Related: Global warming, has um, stopped.

Global warming appears to have stalled. Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising over the last 10 years. Some attribute the trend to a lack of sunspots, while others explain it through ocean currents.

At least the weather in Copenhagen is likely to be cooperating. The Danish Meteorological Institute predicts that temperatures in December, when the city will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference, will be one degree above the long-term average.

Otherwise, however, not much is happening with global warming at the moment. The Earth's average temperatures have stopped climbing since the beginning of the millennium, and it even looks as though global warming could come to a standstill this year.

But they have models! Obviously when the choice is between models and real world data...go with the models. To do otherwise would mean the science isn't settled.

Why does Gaia hate climate models?

My boy, Jim!  Yo!  Yo!  Yo!

He's tired of Tom Coburn getting all the postive attention.  Coburn gets to be called "Dr. No."  Inhofe wants to be called "Dr. Fuck You."

3 Psst.  I read on some blog that Global Warming never actually started, they've just been lying about the data.  Maybe ace can post on that later.

You know how much evil electricity it takes to run high-end computers and servers?  She'll smile on the models when these "scientists" go back to scratching their equations in the dirt with a stick.

10 This article quoted article puts me in mind of those other religious types who confidently predict the end of the world by such and such a date, then stand around puzzled when it doesn't happen.

Fools all, God bless 'em.

One down, one to go.

Off to Richmond to protest Warner and Webb at their local offices.  Downtown is big "Obamaland."  Pray for my safety.  I have nasty P-shopped pix of Bammy on my sign.  All the other protesters have been asked to bring suitcases to let these clowns know they're going to be sent packing if they vote for this.

20 There is a reason that a proposed chemistry predicted by models is tested experimentally before anyone really believes it.  Yet those are comparatively simple systems compared to the complexity of the chemistry and heat flow in the entire earth (or rather the solar system).

All of the models predicted a temperature rise, and yet none of the models predicted this drop.  What does that tell you about the validity of the models.   Global warming is real and the science is settled.  But of course it is, dear.

There is a bunch of data out there about the Black-Balling that has been going on for thirty-five years in the University Global Climate Resreach mechanisms.

It's all a scam!

The University getting grants to research it, the more scare they create, the more the wealth is spread around. Anybody who attempts to speak out through their research, which in most cases refutes the Anthropological Global Climate Change hard-line, is Black-Balled, won't get their research peer reviewed, and in return have a hard time with advancement and grants.

It's simple! And just to think the entire machine, which has infiltrated and taken over American Universities has one agenda objective, and that is, end the evil Capitalist System.

It's just a shame that all of these global warming modeling mavens didn't put their super-genius to work at simpler models for, say, the S+P and related stock and bond indices around the world.  That way, they could have predicted the credit crisis, made trillions on the play, and paid for a lot of their idiotic global warming crap on their own.

But ... that would have involved making definite bets on the outcomes of their models and not having the government fund their insanity.

Actually this article does not go far enough. Not only have the temps been dropping but they have been dropping since 1998 consistently. You wouldn't know that though looking at the NOAA web site.  They still post that lie about the 7 out of last 10 years being the hottest.  You know, that little piece of BS that NASA put out but had to retract because someone finally was able to get a look at their data and found "errors" in it.

Funny dat, how all the "honest mistakes" always make the result higher.  In addition the NASA temp graph conveniently starts at the end of the little ice age so that the long term temp graph has nowhere to go but up.  An honest depiction would have it starting from the last peak if you wanted to compare peak high temps.

But morons already know this. Most sane people already know this is a massive fraud designed by U.S. politicians to advance communism and by world communists to steal money from the industrialized Western world.

Foreign aid has a bad name so they had to invent another scam.
