Find the guy who came up with the Wakker Dier (Animals Awake) ad and check his crawlspace. That's some sick shit.

CC -- I'd have to entirely agree; have a bunch of friends over at Progressive...none of us can figure out why they didn't give her goofy-ass the boot. But then, we're talking about her now...advertisers view that as 'success'.

'Nam, bro, that ain't just you. That one gets me everytime it's on. The guy greeting the young soldier coming home reminds me of someone that greeted me when I came back froom Korea. Touches me.

Perhaps you have seen the ad for the Michelin battery jumper cables that have a new feature that self-corrects if you hook them up wrong.
"If you act now" the ad goes on to say: "We will send you this auto tool kit, free."
Think about it. We now have thousands of auto owners who are incapable of hooking up jumper cables, now determined to try out their new tools.
What could go wrong?

Gotta get this in before the party starts -
Righty's response to 2009 -
America is Exceptional - Period. This decade, we will accept nothing less. If you try to tear it down, we will burn you down. G-d blessed this country - deal with it. America is Exceptional - no apologies necessary - don't want to hear any more of them. If you can't accept American exceptionalism and your here - get out, if your not hear - stay out, if you want to bring it to an end - then die.
May the next year be a year that reignites American exceptionalism and may the next decade be known as the exclamation point on American exceptionalism.
Blessings and prosperity to you all in this New Year and in this new decade of American exceptionalism!

We got off a MAC flight and had to snag a taxi to get to SFI. 3 of us split the cab ride and the whole time this maggot (to use a slightly modified adverb) was giving us the eye the whole ride over. Fortunately for him, there was plexiglass between it and us. Felt like twisting his scrawny-assed neck for him but we were ready to get home.
Thanks for listening to my rantness.
