My response to Calderon would have consisted of a certain one-finger salute followed by a hearty "fuck you" and DIAF.

Cue "McClintock is a racist" in 3, 2, 1....

Oh, and by the way, Calderon, our gun laws aren't the source of your drug-cartel violence, you miserable POS.

17 Here's my response to Calderone.

Do not come to my country from your third world shit hole and criticize me for racism. You see I'm not racist at all. What I am- is pissed off at a bunch of ungrateful freeloaders who come here, get jobs and send the money home, and then bitch about our country while they freeload on the backs of committed American citizens.

You Calderone, represent your country well. You are a perfect example of an ungrateful bitch, a guest, who comes here and tells me what is wrong with my house. Go now, and don't bother coming back. Don't let that chain link door hit you in the ass on the way out.

There is an upside to Demunist gerrymandering---the Republican districts that remain are solidly so.

Believe it or not, Cali is not as hopelessly Commiecrat as it may appear. Two small atomic bombs would neutralize the state, and four small atomic bombs--detonated in San Fransicko, Oakland, West Hollywood and South Central LA (Maxine Waters land) would make this state a patriot bastion.

I am so tired of Meg Whitman and her multi-million dollar ad campaigns.  Every stinking commercial--twice.  She is obviously desperate and trying to buy the election.

Anyway, Tom had a tough fight.  The RINO who ran against him (Osie) typically portrayed himself as the conservative and Tom as the liberal.  Fortunately enough people saw through his bs and voted right.

I am so tired of Meg Whitman and her multi-million dollar ad campaigns.  Every stinking commercial--twice.  She is obviously desperate and trying to buy the election.

Actually, at first I really liked Meg Whitman. Her "Talk To Meg" campaign, describing what was wrong with California and her ideas for fixing it, was just great. And Poizner seemed like a crybaby in comparison. But then Meg's campaign began to do exactly what Poizner was crying about in advance--run nasty smears of Poizner. And at that point I realized maybe Poizner had inside information and wasn't a crybaby after all.

50 I wanted to vote McClintock for Governer when he ran against Arnold a few years ago. I thought McClintock was a far better choice than that second rate actor, body builder, RINO who has failed to make any of the changes that he ran on. The star struck fools in CA made a BAD choice and we are now living  with the results.

That's because McClintock has lost every one of his four statewide races in California (Controller, '94, '02; Governor '03; Lieutennant Governor '06). I love the guy and think he would be a fantastic addition to the Senate or Statehouse but you can hardly blame ambitious Republicans in California for concluding that McClintock's purity is not the way to electoral victory.

Her campaign has had a whole series of ads with background music some idiot strumming a banjo and singing "We can't trust Steve Poizner!" as some kind of song. Poizner is accused of expanding his bureaucracy, the Department of Insurance, in the California State Government. Gee, when such an expansion is mandated, as was the Department's creation, by voter initiative, what was Steve supposed to do? Not run for Insurance Commissioner and let yet another executive position go to a Commiecrat? And his opponent John Garamendi would have very much been that Demunist, too.

I will support Meg wholeheartedly should she win the primary. Anyone over the wretched former and wannabe again Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown, who is rising out of his political crypt. Someone get the garlic, wooden stakes, silver bullets and holy water. The monster is rising again.

Mexico is not a poor 3rd world country. They have oil and other natural resources. They could be competitive with the US or any other country if (and for them it's a big IF) they lived by the rule of law. Mexico, like so much of Latin America, is corrupt/ A tiny minority controls all the money and denies even economic opportunity to the vast majority. Nearly every area of govt is fraught w/ corruption. If Calderone really cares about his people, he can make them a home in which economic opportunity is available to all and where people, including the police and all govt employees, follow the law.

People hardly ever have anything nice to say about Neville Chamberlain, but at least he never had Adolf Hitler damning England from Buckingham Palace.

All this siding with foreigners illegally in the U.S.A (and their serf master employers and campaign contributors) against Arizonians by Obama, and his lackeys, and by proxy against most Americans, as according to polls most Americans support Arizona, will, if anything, only fuel resentment of illegals and encourage illegals to commit violence if they donÂ’t get their way.

If Obama does not realize this then he is a moron. If he does realize this then he is a psychopath.

It is hard to believe that Barack Hussein Obama is that much of a moron so the presumptive diagnosis must be that he is a psychopath. More specifically his pathology is that of a pyromaniac.

Obama is a President who will live in infamy. He is at war with his own country. Siding with a foreign nation, Mexico, and itÂ’s millions of invading nationals, against his own nation which he swore an oath to.

Posted by: mokimoki at May 21, 2010 10:27 AM (IrV7s)

83 Where was this congressman's standing ovation?

Here is my take, as an immigrant in Mexico for 15 years:  It's all about the money.  Immigrants from Mexico, legal and illegal, send lots of money back home.  About 17 billion each year.  That is more than the foreign direct investment.  From all that I could gather, the children of immigrants, legal and illegal, do not send nearly that much money to Mexico, if any, once having been assimilated into the United States.  Neither is there the strength of family relations in Mexico to compel them to send money.  So it would seem that Mexico depends on first generation immigration to send home the 17 billion.  Of course the Mexican government is going to foster and promote first generation immigration.  The immigration of Central Americans on Mexico's southern border does not add to their GDP, hence the need to enforce their immigration laws there.

As a side note, the drug cartels also bring in billions of dollars to Mexico and hence, according to Strafor, the Mexican government isn't really interested in shutting them down..

Stolen from Hot Air comments:

This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.”

“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

92 9/10. If he'd worked the phrase "desolate shit-hole" in there, it would have been a solid 10.

93 ...DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said ICE is not obligated to process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona authorities. "ICE has the legal discretion to accept or not to accept persons delivered to it by non-federal personnel," Napolitano said. "It also has the discretion to deport or not to deport persons delivered to it by any government agents, even its own."

...Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-AL, said it appeared the Obama administration is "nullifying existing law" and suggested Morton may not be the right person for his post if he fails to enforce federal immigration law. "If he feels he cannot enforce the law, he shouldn't have the job," Sessions told Fox News. "That makes him, in my view, not fulfilling the responsibilities of his office."

95 @ 6, 22, 31, 45, 61, 87 - I've voted for McClintock every time that he comes around for statewide office. We need him out of the House, shaking up Sacramento, and getting the state back on the Right track.

96 Personally, most all of the positive stuff I've heard about Calderone went down the drain when he uttered those remarks on AZ immigration during the state visit this week.

So, Mr. Calderone, you might have won the appreciation of a few agendists and manipulators in Washington DC (maybe even some of your fellow Mexicans in the US illegally) but you've lost the respect of the vast majority of the American people by electing to perform the role of mouthpiece for the Obama administration.

No matter how much money (est. at a billion+) illegals send home from the US to Mexico to help keep your disorganized, corrupt & crime ridden economy alive.
