Ad For Democrat Features Words "I'm a Republican" Ten Times
— Ace

No, he doesn't say he's a Republican -- just all of his supporters announce "I'm a Republican, and I support Harry Mitchell."

Mitchell's party entirely unmentioned. I'm a Republican... I'm a Republican... I'm a Republican... Harry Mitchell.

Slick, huh?

That's how bad it is. And obviously we need people to know who the real Republicans are, and who the Democrats are, pretending to be Republicans, or hoping that voters just don't know either way.

My strategy of legally changing my name to Franklin Delano Roosevelt and running in Florida is totally viable.

Or maybe I'll call myself Jon F Kennedy.

Those old people will be climbing over their walkers to vote for me.

And then I'll take away their social security.

And spend it on cuban hookers.

Jeebus, I knew Obama was a loser during the campaign, but I never dreamed that he would destroy liberalism to this gawdawful degree. These dems are terrified of admitting to the truth of what they truly are. Anti business, anti personal responsibility, pro deadbeat, pro tax sucking scum. I am so fed up with neighbors of mine, who are looking for government handouts to bail them out from their dumbass behavior. I swear, one of these days, I'm going to see some half wit girl babbling about her baby daddy, and smack her up one side the head. I could have some respect for liberals if they would tell these morons to get a fuckin brain. These government hand out leeches are just fuckin stupid, and they are starting to seep into my neighborhood. "Prop 401 is a proposed sales tax increase of two tenths of one percent. If passed it will increase for the next four years the transaction privilege (sales) tax and use tax levied by the City of Tempe, from a current rate of 1.8 percent to 2.0 percent. It will not apply to the sales tax rate on food for home consumption.

...

Who supports Prop 401?
Cliff Jones, Former Tempe Fire Chief"

And lookee there, if you search for "Republican" Cliff Jones, you have to go through a lot of names but there are two donations.  Both $250.  Both to Mitchell.  One in April 2006 and one in November 2009.

149 I went over to Hot Air to read AP's latest Palin thread - to which I respond:

1) Write this on the palm of your hand, if necessary - "Sarah Palin is a private citizen"

Palin does not hold a public office.  She does not hold an official position in the RNC or the Alaska Republican Party.

2)  If the White House is dumb enough to officially attack a private citizen, no matter how famous, for her political positions, in 2010 - BEFORE the midterm elections, that decision would underline in red how intellectually bankrupt the Democratic Party truly is.  Remember - the Dem party line has been Palin = stupid, unimportant, rightwing demagogue, a chillbilly loser.  A radical course change six weeks before the election is simply a declaration of unconditional surrender.

3)  Palin is the final choice for 2010 demonisation because the WH recognizes that the former AK governor is the greatest threat to the president's re-election in 2012

4)  The under-reported story so far during this campaign cycle is the expected Dem turnout for their congresscritters.  A stunning number of Dems will stay home.  That means no votes for Dem candidates for governor, Dem candidates for state house and senate offices, no votes for liberal state judges.  And that means Republicans will control congressional re-districting in even more states, which means more Republican-leaning districts in the 2012 cycle.

A couple of morons were asking "what's a bridge card?"

A bridge card is an ATM card issued by a government to an individual who is receiving government assistance.  (Aid to families with dependent children, welfare, food stamps, etc)

So instead of receiving a check in the mail, or a hand full of food stamps, you receive a government ATM card that is typically automatically recharged at the beginning or end of each month.

Different governments have different standards on what can be purchased, and where with these cards.

OK, OK OK, Mr. Stickler.

A less orange but more shameless and straight Charlie Crist.

Speaking of which..... Is his wife hot?

I bet she's loney. And hot. Possibly a virgin... likes corrupt politicians potentially named Franklin Delaney Roosevelt.

We are in the middle of a Conservative Revolution that is gaining momentum. And like any Revolution- it is unprecedented and unique to the political climate of the times.

And yet, the biggest Eeyores are the status quo GOP Think-Tank analysts who keep measuring the landscape by standard traditional parameters.

Timeless...

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

He has no backbone. The reason he has no money is that HE WILL LOSE. I was on the trail with him. He's vapid. He speaks and acts exactly like Obama. Doesn't know the issues. I'd vote for him ONLY to get rid of Perlmutter. We need a restart button.

221 223 His opponent is David Schweikert (sp?) and he is going to wipe the floor with Mitchell.

David does fine running up in Ftn Hills and Snobsdale, but he's never been able to attract U.S. House votes in Tempe and Mesa, let alone the reservations. Took him sixteen years of running and a jam-packed jungle primary in 2008 for the House (which he won with support in the twenties) just to finally get the opportunity to get drowned in that year's Dem wave (Tempe's fav ex-mayor by 10). He's nowhere near a sure thing, even with Mitchell's voting in lockstep with Pelosi this term.
