He has a podcast that's one of the most popular ones out there. I've been listening for a few months and enjoy it a lot. Some of his rants would actually make good Tea Party campaign materials even though Carrolla wouldn't consider himself to be a conservative. But then I've liked Adam since his KROQ Loveline days.

Adam Carolla is fucking awesome. He'd never call himself a "conservative", but he's definitely a libertarian who openly rails against "liberal retards" on his podcast (the no.1 podcast on iTunes I think). I'm shocked his rants against the government and taxes haven't been featured here more.

My guess is that he's attempting to claim that it would fall slower because of impacts with the lower floors. And honestly I wouldn't be surprised if you actually analyzed it you would find that they did likely fall at slightly slower than the rate of acceleration due to gravity, except for the the higher floors which aren't dealing with any of the additional impacts. Good luck performing an analysis through all the smoke and dust though.
