Ahmadinejad The Truther
— Dave in Texas

He's somebody we can negotiate with, because he's reasonable.

Ahmadinejad described the destruction of the twin towers in New York on September 11, 2001 as a "complicated intelligence scenario and act," IRNA reported.

He added: "The September 11 incident was a big fabrication as a pretext for the campaign against terrorism and a prelude for staging an invasion against Afghanistan." He did not elaborate.

Oh, were you finished? Well allow me to retort.

In a few months our national elections are going to get your attention. I expect you'll still mouth off. But it won't feel as good as it does today.

Say "what" one more time. I dare you.

May I have some of your tasty beverage, to wash this "all the cover they need" down with?

25 Ah, good times. Think back to those halcyon days when all you needed to win the good graces of 52% of the nation was a heartfelt promise to negotiate with any nation without preconditions. Had Mahmoud said this back then, about two years ago, what would have been the effect? About 52% would have called Mahmoud a man willing to "speak truth to power." And don't forget: BOOOOOSH! The frightening part is probably a third of our nation is stupid enough to agree with him, even today.

I wasn't projecting anything.  Scott Adams, in his snarky way, made a similar argument basically comparing Bush to Ahmadinejad a few years year.  I took your comment too harshly if you were simply commenting on the foolishness of making fun of another religion, and for that I apologize.  But I didn't like when Adams made it because it's a typical false comparison.

I don't care who believes in this 12th Imam, but when a nation seeking nuclear weapons uses this as a basis for their foreign policy, (i.e. "wiping Israel of the map"), then everybody should be concerned about that.
