— Purple Avenger This time its the claimed link between global warming and natural disasters.
...faces new controversy for wrongly linking global warming to an increase in the number and severity of natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods.ClimateGate, Bogus glacier claims, Bogus natural disaster claims? It based the claims on an unpublished report that had not been subjected to routine scientific scrutiny — and ignored warnings from scientific advisers that the evidence supporting the link too weak. The report's own authors later withdrew the claim because they felt the evidence was not strong enough...
...The Sunday Times has since found that the scientific paper on which the IPCC based its claim had not been peer reviewed, nor published, at the time the climate body issued its report.
When the paper was eventually published, in 2008, it had a new caveat. It said: "We find insufficient evidence to claim a statistical relationship between global temperature increase and catastrophe losses."
Despite this change the IPCC did not issue a clarification ahead of the Copenhagen climate summit last month. It has also emerged that at least two scientific reviewers who checked drafts of the IPCC report urged greater caution in proposing a link between climate change and disaster impacts — but were ignored.
Its just a hazy concept at the moment...kinda ephemeral...might even just be indigestion and hangover...but it just feels like maybe, just possibly, an outside chance, 1:1,000,000 shot, that there's a, just a faint fuzzy shadow on the wall thing really, that suggests a pattern of deception going on here. I'm with Auric Goldfinger on this -- three times is usually enemy action.

That was my letter that the IPCC based their claims on. Everything in it was correct, and I am incensed that you nasty people don't know how hard it is to be the IPCC. It's not as if they have a magic wand to wave and make all of the global warming go away. It's not that easy to bring on a cold winter. Give the IPCC a chance, already.

They will not admit they are wrong because they knew up front the entire thing was a fraud. It has never been about actual envirtonmental science. It has always been about advancing international communism and stealing money from the "wealthy" nations and giving it to 3rd world dictators.

Dr Murari Lal also said he was well aware the statement, in the 2007 report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), did not rest on peer-reviewed scientific research.

Matthew Rothschild at The Progressive penned, "The Pentagon has approached Congress to grant the Secretary of Defense the authority to post almost 400,000 military personnel throughout the United States in times of emergency or a major disaster."
Concerning this, David Mundy at the Texas National Press commented:
If granted, the move would further erode
the authority of the states and would minimize the role played by the
states' militia . . . in handling domestic
issues.
More ominously, nothing in the Pentagon's request specifies that the
troops to be posted in U.S. cities would necessarily be Americans.
The report notes that in September of 2009 USNORTHCOM released its
32-page initial framework for the "Tri Command," referring to NORAD,
NORTHCOM, and Canada COM. It is noted that while NORTHCOM and Canada
COM are national organizations, NORAD is set up as a binational force.
It is largely understood, therefore, that the Council of Governors has
been established for the purpose of getting the governors' blessing on
this newly accumulated power. In other words, the COG is Assistant
Secretary of Defense Paul Stockton's effort to establish a liaison
between the governors, DHS, DOD, and the National Guard.
Of course, as the report suggests, what is not being disclosed is what
powers will be conferred upon the 10 gubernatorial council members and
what authorities they will be required to cede to the federal
government.
Anyone who is not concerned about the ever-increasing encroachment of
federal power upon the states and citizenry at large is either not
paying attention, or is already a slave at heart. Instead of worrying
about whether a gubernatorial or State legislative candidate is a
conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, we need to be focusing
on whether or not our State governors and legislators have the
historical and constitutional acumen and resolve to resist the current
dismantling of State sovereignty and personal liberty being
orchestrated by this federal leviathan that is known as Washington, D.C.
We can survive hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, looters and thugs,
blackouts, and even Muslim terrorists. What we cannot survive — at
least not without great cost and effort — is tyranny at the hands of
our own government. In this regard, our greatest threat is not foreign
terrorists or natural disasters; our greatest threat is Washington, D.C.
So, while D.C. has an eye on this new Council of Governors, you'd
better keep an eye on your governor as well — and keep the other eye on
what's left of your liberties, because if those federal foxes come in
the middle of the night and run off with them, it will be your governor
that opened the door.

It's more than just a pattern of deception, Purple Avenger. It's a pattern of conflict of interest.
I'm sure there are many bloggers who've done a great job following this story of corruption. But Richard North at EU Referendum stands out as his reporting has been published in major UK newspapers.
And now it's starting to look like this story has legs. Even the Indian papers are picking it up.Or I should say, especially the Indian papers. Because when you've lied for years from your UN position about the Himalayan glaciers disappearing, years after you've been told that wasn't true, in order to funnel money into foundations you chair, while SWEARING TO G-D YOU'D NEVER PROFIT FROM SUCH AN ARRANGEMENT, well that's something even a reporter can figure out.

When packing your backpack, be sure to keep the weight evenly distributed from side to side. If one side of your pack is heavier than another, it will significantly inhibit your balance.
Start packing your pack from the bottom up, and from the ¡°back¡± out. The ¡°back¡± refers to the part of the backpack that will rest against your back (meaning ¡°out¡± refers to the part of the backpacks closer to you when loading). You will want the heaviest items packed in such a way that the weight is supported by your skeletal structure rather than your muscles. Refer to the diagram below for assistance.
