— Ace Is this fake? Viral marketing?
Eh... probably. But the girl's too cute.
So if it's fake, it worked. Congratulations.

Thanks to Walrus Rex.
Question about the reality of this: If the girl wanted to say this, why not an email?
Answer: Because you can't see her totally ridiculous hotness in an email.
Sooooo... signs point to fake.
But... she is cute.

Let's all take a step back from this and take a deep breath a cold shower and realize that she may not be telling the whole story here.
Perhaps there is a part 2 to the story that goes something like this.
Ring, ring, ring ring . . . hello, this is Spencer's office, Jenny speaking.
Hi Jenny please transfer me to Spencer.
Right away sir .... (Jenny pushes transfer button but hears part of the conversation).

Why not? You can call guys in the office macho, hot, muscular, ... and no one cares (though the guy being addressed would probably like it). It seems from her complaints that she didn't mind being called a HPOA (though she seems to have been irked that it was HOPA by mistake). Her complaints were about everything but being called a HPOA. I also think that any woman sporting a tatoo in a very visible place is going to have a really hard time feigning sensitivity to how people perceive her appearance.

She is hot. If this were real, she would go from job to job, at low level, until she got married or ugly. I know about ten 60 year old women working near me who used to be hot. LOL.
It's a great way in for a bright gal who can actually impress in a more legitimate way, though.

This does remind me of a former employee of mine named Tina. I'll call her Tina because that was her name. Anyways, we were desperate for help at the time (think 1990's) and I'm positive this was the first time in her working life that she had a job that required her to actually produce. She was OK looking, but nothing great. Anyway, she would dress provocatively (right up to the border-line in my book) and them complain when she would catch the loan officers looking at her tits. On casual Friday she would wear bycycling shorts and then complain about people looking at her ass (I had to ban those in teh office after that). Once my regional even sent her home to change. She she wasn't the best employee, she wasn't the worst, but we needed bodies.
She later quit, and one of her cited reasons as "I was difficult to work for".
Yeah.
Her next job was as a stripper.

In re. HPOA vs. HOPA
We just checked with Jenny's producers and it appears legal counsel advised her to transpose the letters in the latter white board frame so as prevent an appearance of openly endorsing the monicur of "HOPA" hence the new HPOA configuration.
According to a legal memorandum prepared by counsel, even though HPOA is very similar to HOPA, the new HPOA version provides a prophylactic legal shield against self-aggrandizement claims that Jenny used HOPA to her advantage in the first 32 white board frames.
Please contact Gloria Alred's office with any questions.

Breaking News:
The rap group Naughty by Nature, whose early 1990's song O.P.P. toped the rap charts, is in talks with Dry Erase Board Jenny's boss, Spencer.
Sources close to the matter over heard a conversation between Spencer's reps and those for the rap artists saying the following: "Hey OPP could use some HA about now . . . " or something to that effect.
Story is developing . . .

I agree with you on how people should behave in an office, but those old mores have been destroyed. Back when people understood what was proper in the office, there were dress codes and all sorts of rules that the workers accepted without complaint. Back then, having a tatoo was more than enough to not get all sorts of jobs. Nowadays, things are just totally different. Women have pushed to be treated equally and this is part of it. No guy would complain about being called a hot piece of ass by the women in the office (except for very contrived complaints from those seeking attention or money from a lawsuit, and even then most guys would assume that the complaints are nothing but unadulterated bullshit) so the equality that women seek should render some parity to that.

Bwhahaha! Slightly O/T but it's about someone demanding someone else's resignation:
Rep. Keith Ellison called for the resignation of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs after he said the “professional left” would only be satisfied with the Obama administration after “we have Canadian healthcare and we’ve eliminated the Pentagon.”
In an interview with The Hill, Gibbs vented further: “I hear these people saying he’s like George Bush. Those people ought to be drug tested.” On people who said that President Obama was too centrist, he said, “They wouldn’t be satisfied if Dennis Kucinich was president.”
Rep. Ellison told The Huffington Post, “This is not the first time that Mr. Gibbs has made untoward and inflammatory comments and I certainly hope that people in the White House don’t share his view that the left is unimportant to the presiden. I understand him having some loyalty to the president who employs him, but I think he’s walking over the line.”
Ellison said that Gibbs’ resignation was warranted. “That’d be fair, because this isn’t the first time. And, again, people of all political shades worked very hard to help the president become the president. Why would he want to go out and deliberately insult the president’s base? And why would he confuse legitimate critique with some sort of lack of loyalty. Isn’t this what the far right does? Punishes people who are not ideologically aligned with President Bush?”
On the claim that the “professional left” would only be satisfied after the Pentagon was eliminated, Rep. Ellison said, “I know of none. So I think that was an inflammatory remark that is emblematic of his careless use of language and is an example of why he may not be the best person for the job.”
White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton said the “professional left” that Gibbs referred to were cable commentators. Gibbs said in a statement to The Huffington Post that his comments were “inartful” and “change hasn’t come fast enough for many Americans."

Most male behavior is driven by thoughts of sex, or even just the possibility of sex. This is part of nature and human interactions. We all know this. The problem is that some women try and act as if these biological imperatives don't exist and then act all outraged when they appear. If women want to be treated equally in the office, then one would think that things which don't bother men would have to be considered not to bother the (equal) women, either. But ... it never works that way with feminists (or lefties, in general). They only know about ratchets, not wrenches.
Not telling you anything you don't know, but a simple example of the problem; if there was office buzz about a guy who had slept with a few women over the last weekend, no one would complain. The guy would probably be happy and proud. If there was office buzz about a gal who slept with a few guys over the weekend, that would be the basis for a huge lawsuit, and she would surely win.
The asymmetry that Nature gave to men and women is something that the modern left has been trying their best to deny, but it always exists and always will.

I remember that scene. Thanks for the advice. There's some older centrifuges here that don't have the safety mechanism where the lid will only open once the centrifuge stops.
Nowadays, if you're in a lab (at least in the developed countries) that handles biological samples, they don't use glass and they have the proper centrifuges.

In group, you mean more than one, right.
I will say, that if this story is true, her boss was probably a pig and it was inappropriate of him referring to his own employees in that way, if that happened.
I also think she is likely an attention whore, with emphasis on the last part, and her real reasons for doing this were left unstated on her white board presentation, meaning that she is likely pissed she was passed over for a promotion, or some other perceived slight.

I mentioned this on another site but women under 25 probably even 30 have become just as bad as men. They used to be the gatekeepers that kept men on their toes and required them to be gentlemen at least some of the time. Now they give it up in a heartbeat with no discernable standards. I can't believe I'm saying this but I liked it when it was a challenge and an art to getting a lady to sleep with you.
Posted by: polynikes at August 10, 2010 05:50 PM (m2CN7)
Placing the blame on just the women doesn't do any justice to the problem. If men wanted to be gentlemen, they'd be gentlemen. If women wanted gentlemen, they'd act like it, too. People today have been brought up with lower standards, making those of us who still have higher standards society's freaks. The "feminist" movement just made it easier for men to get a piece of action with fewer consequences. This is heavily reinforced through the media and schools. I can't remember ever seeing a modern film where a woman wasn't expected to sleep with every man she had dated. Same with men.
