Another "Miss Me Yet?" Billboard Surfaces (?)
— Ace

The question mark is there because I don't know if this is a real billboard of they just photoshopped the Bush one.

If it's not real, it should be within days. Too good not to make real.

Well, can't imagine anyone that lived through Carter's utterly failed administration would miss him at all, but some of the terrorist weasels in Palestine, Syria and Iran sure do.

Maybe we could arrange a trade.  We give them Carter and.. well, ok, we don't really need anything in return.  We just give them Carter.

Doubtful, even in the pokemon trading card edition he's no where near that valuable.  You might get, say, a Tip ONeil or maybe a George Stephanopoulos and a Geraldine Ferarro for one Carter,  But a Reagan?  Not a chance in hades.  That would be like trading a Babe Ruth rookie card for a Bucky "fucking" Dent.  Just never going to happen.

From Mary Katharine Ham at the Weekly Standard: Oops: Two Other Things Obama Says Health-Care Reform Will Do This Year in Doubt

This is Obama selling another element of his health-care plan that will go into effect this year, yesterday at the signing ceremony:

And this year, young adults will be able to stay on their parents' policies until they're 26 years old. That all happens this year.

And, again, we find this measure isn't actually in the Senate bill, which passed Sunday night, and about which Obama was talking yesterday. It's dependent upon the passage of the reconciliation bill going through, which is being debated in the Senate today, and likely late into the night.

And there's one more.

So this is what change looks like - by Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-MI)

Great article. Here's an excerpt:

"Such hubris threatens not only our health care system but it tears the social fabric and political contract of our Nation. Instead of working for a more perfect Union, the President’s ideological obstinacy exacerbated the disorder and divisions within our Nation, and wrought a crisis of consent—one that puts America’s exceptional experiment in human freedom and self-government on the precipice of implosion."

57 I don't think it's a Photoshop.  The billboard is wrapped so it won't always line up perfectly as you can see the wrinkles along the bottom edge.  Also,  the type is set up differently than the Bush board.  No reason to mess with that if slapping Carter onto a jpeg of the Bush board.

Just called K&M(the billboard company).  It is real.  On I-45 near Ennis(?) TX.

110 China will end up dominating the Pacific without ever once having to fire a shot at the US.  With our current leadership, China knows it could take Taiwan without worrying about our response.  China could actually accomplish what Japan could not without having to attack the US or actually invade territory.

@103 Goldwater wasn't bullshitting. He was the only man ever who'd been flight-checked in every aircraft in the USAF inventory. Brig.Gen.Barry Goldwater, USAF Reserve. Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.

Pretty sure Hutchison Whampoa manages the Canal. They were Hong Kong, which makes them Chinese now, doesn't it, speaking of giving things "back." Here's the pisser: it was cool to give away the Canal, because it wasn't big enough to handle the newest ships. Guess what the current management found? Parallel to the old canal, the complete channel for a new one, started during WWII, but canceled just in time to keep it from being an issue for Carter. They're getting it ready now. A gift from the Greatest Generation.

Let's play spot the weasel words:

The Maryland Democrat (Hoyer) said more than 10 House Democrats have reported incidents of threats or other forms of harassment about their support of the highly divisive health insurance overhaul vote.
In other words, nine people called more than once again and Rangel's tenants want their water heater fixed.   Sheesh.

The purpose of this is pretty clear, it's a concerted effort to shut up the protestors. And that will work of course because Americans are so respectful of their government that has a negative 14 approval rating.

#37  In all seriousness, things like these billboards and the obama as joker poster are better weapons than most republican commercials.  Straight and to the point and easy to remember.  plus the one thing obama hates is to be laughed at.

Has anyone noticed yet, Obama has thus far failed to take over this 18% of the economy. He and his cronies lied and cheated and twisted arms and still they couldn't pass their bill without a ridiculous number of opportunities for Constitutional challenges and state nullifications and God knows what. He just can't get it up. And though he and his friends are celebrating, it ain't up yet.

I wonder how he feels about that? I wonder if anyone has told him or at least reminded him in the last few minutes?

Perhaps I'll use my twitter accts to console the poor man.
