Anyone Got an 8 Bit Version of the Wizard of Oz?
— Jack M.

My brother sent me this, which, as he knows full well, means the rest of my day is pretty much shot.

Some Dude (definately not to be confused with someguy) reproduced Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album using a Nintendo.

Mario Brothers never rocked so hard.

Great Gig in the Sky is also pretty well done.

Time to dig the Atari 2600 out of the attic. Record contract here I come!

Text-Based Super Mario Brothers... [ace] Remember Zork? Okay, well, what if Mario Brothers was a text-based game?

Yup.

Dumb but sort of funny, for like 90 seconds. The concept is funny, not the execution so much, except that it's funny anyone really bothered executing the concept in the first place.

It's pretty well done I must say.

12 I know the common wisdom is that Dark Side matches up with Oz, but one night in college it was playing along to The Godfather and seemed to match up in an uncanny way.....of course, I don't remember it all that well, IYKWIMAITYD...

#9  I heard that on the news the other day.

And of course its the fault of "global warming", (oops, "climate change").  No proof given and no alternate hypothesis posited.

Island tips over!

...studies revealed that sea levels in this part of the Bay of Bengal have risen much faster
=========================================
Imagine that. Water can rise in just parts of a body of water.

not really, there is a bit of money to be made on 8-bit and chiptune music. Especially over in Europe, I mean look at Thermostatic, they're pretty big in Eastern Europe

I'm not much of a scientist. How did the water rise just there and not the rest of the world.  I'm so confused.

holy shit, I just figured why water is rising in parts of Bengal Bay!

The planet Earth, you see, is like an island, and, well, a lot of people are in India, you see, and, well, I think you see my point.
