No compromise on more government or more taxes.  There will be no compromise on repealing Obamacare.  There will be no compromise in protecting the values of the American ...people. And just in case I wasn't clear - no compromise.”

Clearly, Mr. Pence is committed to “no compromise” and I hope this gives you some reassurance. Please pass this message along to your community — Mr. Pence is a strong voice within Republican leadership and I have no doubt he will do everything he can. I hope this helps.

Yeah, around here leaving the party off is SOP, but I drove through a small town and saw some signs for local candidates in a storefront.  Since I had seen those signs in the same lawns with known Dems, I knew that it was a Dem office, but there was no other way to tell.

That's unusual.  The party offices at least advertise their top-ballot candidates if not the party itself.

It's an us/them environment. The 1995 shutdown failed for two big reasons. The first was Gingrich's fucking stupid mouth *in front of cameras* tying the shutdown showdown to his and Dole's being seated in the back of serial rapist's Air Force One. The second was that the economy was starting to heat up in its run to the eventual dot-com meltdown. If the Pelosi/Hoyer fucktards don't pass a budget before the new Congress is seated, then the showdown can come as soon as whatever continuing resolution in place at the end of this Congress expires. Barring a miracle, things will not be better by early next calendar year.

If all these crazy-ass polls are matched (or surpassed) by the expensive internal polls on the Democrat side, I'm very nervous about the next couple weeks.  Who stands to lose most here besides the politicians themselves?  I think a case could be made that the UAW, SEIU, AFL-CIO, NEA, and TEAMSTERS would be the huge ships caught at  low tide.  No longer afloat in an ocean of Fed power and cash, their membership could revolt - and screaming bus tours of CEO mansions won't do the trick.

So the question is, do unions wait till they're shipwrecked and foment organized violence among their dejected membership - or do they do something criminal before the election to try and prevent disaster.  It goes without saying that some of da fellas who report to Trumka and Stern are acquaintences of guys who know guys who know guys who do things.  What could they do to deflate a movement like the Tea Party.  The media branding and mockery attempts have utterly failed. Charges of violence and harrassment have also proved empty. 

But what if there was some real violence in the coming weeks?  Some high profile violence with circumstantial linkage to Tea Party concerns? What if it was of a kind that could permanently stain the Tea Party movement in the minds of a critical 10% of independents? 

Maybe I watch too many movies.  Maybe I'm over-stating the desperation of unions and/or leftists that will not accept a loss of power.  But I think the design of funding a permament electioneering corruption machine was knee-capped by those ACORN videos.  I think the whole NBPP raucus has people keenly focused on that type of poll-place bullshit.  So when you check those types of criminal activities you've put these a-holes in a tight corner in their fight to keep power.  That makes me afraid that something real bad could be in the works.

117 So, what happens if not a thing changes?  No seats are won and a lot are lost, it stays mostly the same or gets a lot worse then it is now.  Then what do we do as voters? Protest? Burn down cities? Go Atlas Shrugged? What will we do? And, what ever we do would we be able to pull it off? (maybe a pun there)
By the way, out here in the fruit and nut state, we are about to elect moonbeam again to a seat of power in this state. Because HE would NEVER take away the teachers retirement system and leave them nothing to retire on.  Oh NO, not HIM or any of his BBFN buddies that are going to be hired and appointed within this state by HIM.  Yea, I be laughing at my teacher wife and all her friends when she has to be working for another 20 years to make up for the next 4 years.
It's going to be a lot more worse than just losing our wallets, as the political ad says.
We are going to be SOOOOO ...... in the ... with out the Vaseline and not even getting a reach around, here in the fruit and nut state.

That's going to be the refrain on Nov 3 as all these victories for the GOP fail to emerge. I have great faith in the sheeple to vote for more cargo for themselves once in the voting booth.
