Sebiliass has already sent a letter to some insurance companies that she will not allow those companies to blame the deathcare bill for those raises in premiums.  She says that if they do, she will not allow them to be included in the approved plans she will demand and regulate.

What she did was threaten private industry to exclude them from being able to sell insurance at all come '14 (it may be '16).   So, our government threatens another industry with being put out of business if they don't tow the government line.

My Anthem Blue Cross went up $180 a month. This was straight due to a) no cap on plan lifetime cost of service (was $6million) and b) coverage of useless deadbeat children to age 26.

Translation -- expect BIG increases and more BS starting in January.  This means rationing, scheduling tweeks and other BS attempts at workarounds to get paid decently for the work one does will start in earnest soon afterwards.  One should also expect more and more clinics to start dropping or restricting poorly paying carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid (patients) soon afterwards.

I have health insurance supplied by Cigna through the company I work for and I was informed last week my rate will DOUBLE in October of this year.
