Where I live, in a blue area of a deep blue state, I witness these clueless lefties all. the. time.   They are so totally brainwashed they cannot conceive of any other reality.  Conservative is a dirty word to them, and conservatives would be the death of us all, if not for the properly-minded lefties who exist solely to keep the right in line.

The average lefty, around here anyway, is somebody who has had a pretty easy life.  Life has been good to these people, they've never had to really work for anything.  They've grown up in lovely homes, many of them with household help (oh but it's only one day a week!  They only clean the house, it's not like we have servants or anything!!). 

Cars were provided, college was a given and also provided, no working their way through college for these folks.  Because their own personal lives have been blessed (by their parents/grandparents and others much smarter than they) they just don't understand how life really works, and how hard it is for average people to get by and get ahead.  Dirty conservatives that want to hold onto their own money, and pay less taxes, are looked at with contempt. 

Being in favor of ruinous taxation is a badge of honor.  It shows you care, and that you have so much money (or have such excellent tax advisors) that taxation doesn't matter.  Sorry for the OT....

We're headed down the very road the Left is leading us -- we're defending ourselves against charges of terrorism and sedition. This is exaclty what they want.

The fact that we've not yet had "an orgy of racist retribution" is indeed amazing, because no other people in history has suffered more provocation nor had more just cause to do exactly that.  Though, of course, race has nothing to do with it.  It is the vile, depraved religion of Islam, which corrupts people of every race.  The fact that nothing has happened is probably more of a bug than a feature of this culture.  Were I president, I would pardon any retributionist who thoughtfully and judiciously carried out said retribution in a way that avoided collateral damage.  Perhaps incidents of that kind would finally help do what the government fails to do - stem the tide of muslim immigration and instead begin a reverse flow.  Let Canada and the Europeans have them.
