I was just writing "Damn, I see someone else is getting a book deal." Turns out -- I had my tense wrong. They're already offering a preorder for their book.

To be fair, I graduated in '93 and had the whole Hammer pants thing going on so I suppose I shouldn't cast stones. I came close to shaving notches out of my eyebrows like Vanilla Ice but didn't, knowing that Dad probably would have kicked my ass. Rightfully so.

Some of them are just dated. Why shouldn't people in the 70s have dressed like it was the 70s? Well, I can think of a number of reasons, but that's not important right now.
