I have a thought that I developed watching this election unfold and I thought I'd run it by you all. 

It is obvious that the dems are infatuated with Euro socialism.  That can't really be logically refuted, imo.  But what has amazed me over the last several months is that we have witnessed the end result of that type of socialism and like Soviet style socialism we know that socialism in general, does not end well.  European governments are responding the only way they can and the socialist diehards are responding in kind by wrecking chaos on the societies.  Who knows who will prevail in the end, but it is obvious for now that socialism will fail and that the diehards will be content to take the societies down with it.

I believe that not only do leftists in this country want to see socialism implemented, they are every bit as willing and eager as the Euro socialists are to see American society fail if either socialism fails or fails to be implemented. 

They are so convinced in their own minds that everyone must live as equals no matter what the level of misery is, that they will sacrifice everything including their liberty and their pursuit of happiness to see that everyone lives that way.

They epitomize selfishness.
