9 "3 Who makes those commercials? Posted by: Vic at June 17, 2010 08:22 PM (6taRI)" Vic, they were produced by a guy named Ehrlinger, a twenty-something right out of college here in Huntsville. I think this is his first real "commercial" work. I don't think it'll be his last.

Posted by: Bugler at June 17, 2010 04:27 PM (VXBR1)

10 That ad was brilliant.  I love it.  Its showmanship.  I bet Dale is going to be running for something bigger than agri commish in the near future.

Posted by: Matt at June 17, 2010 04:28 PM (MHK3Q)

11 Damn, I'm dealing with a bruised rib, and this made me laugh out loud.

Best.concession.ad.evah.

(Could we please replace Barky with this guy?  Barky needs a "rest" in an institution.  So does Joe.)

Oh NO! He fired a gun! Wait til the MFM paint us all as trigger happy tea baggers. This will cause us to lose in November. Take it back....take it back....nooooooo!!!

18 Palin/Peterson in 2012!

Posted by: Trimegistus at June 17, 2010 04:34 PM (pNI9U)

19 Wish we could replace Barky with this guy stat.  Finally, a guy with balls in the Oval since our wild-assed cowboy, W.

A girl can dream, right?

Posted by: Jane D'oh at June 17, 2010 04:34 PM (UOM48)

Finally.  Something else to talk about.

Ryan / Peterson 2012

24 Love that commercial. WooHoo,

Posted by: PaleRider at June 17, 2010 04:39 PM (dkExz)

25 I'm not going to be on here much longer, because my freaking rib hurts (and my doc doesn't believe in pain meds.  In a few months he won't matter anyway, because the owner of D'oh's business is going to cancel everyone's insurance.)

Anyhow, I love the concession speech, which is better +1,000 than anything we've heard from Barky.

I've also decided to lay off the news for the next few days.  My ribs hurt, and I don't need a headache and anger on top of it.

Well, that's 'cause W has actually SEEN an oil rig a time or two, so he knows what can happen.

Posted by: louis tully at June 17, 2010 10:10 PM (Vc/xe)

Louis, you may want to reconsider 'Bama until Dale gets everything cleaned up after he's elected governor.  He called into Beck's show when he was running for the ag job and said that Alabama is FILTHY with corruption.  Came as a shock to Beck and the audience, but Dale believes that AL is second only to New Orleans or Jersey (I'm sure forgetting Chicago was just an oversight!)

Posted by: RushBabe at June 17, 2010 06:49 PM (W8m8i)

43 My very young misguided liberal friend says Dale gives the south a bad name! Me thinks liberals give people a bad name.
