Bielat, Lollar Can Win Races; Frank, Hoyer May Be In Trouble
— Ace

To be honest there's not a lot of hard data on this, except for the Bielat internal poll (which you already heard about) showing him but ten points away from dethroning the Clown Prince Frank.

Here's why Lollar could win:

Lollar is a Marine who served in combat in Kosovo and is also currently a major in the Marine Corps Reserves. He burst onto the scene as a charismatic speaker at Tea Party rallies in Maryland and across the nation. The 39-year-old businessman decided to take on Hoyer because of his leadership role in advancing a radical liberal agenda under President Obama and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Lollar believes Rep. Hoyer has betrayed the values of a significant portion of MarylandÂ’s 5th Congressional District and no longer views himself as accountable to them.

Hoyer’s strength is in the most populous county in the district, which is predominantly black. But Lollar, a black conservative with an engaging personality, has appealed directly and personally to people who Republicans have not typically approached, asking them for their vote — and they are responding.

National political pundit Dick Morris last week declared the race “winnable” for Lollar, and his campaign has seen a surge of national attention since then, including the endorsement of former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. . . .

Stace McCain has some inside dope and hears Lollar's fundraising is spiking. A little more could help.

And so too for Bielat.

By the Way: I met Sean Duffy on like Thursday, and his smokin'-hot wife, and their newest baby (the sixth), who is as cute as they are, only smaller and with poop in her pants. (More pictures at Rightwing News. Including this one of Sean Duffy and baby Victoria.)

They were both super-gracious and sweet. The baby too. She pooped at me.

Neither one knew who the hell I was, but Sean Duffy thought he did. But I think he was confusing me with another blogger. Still, super-generous about praising me for this other blogger's work.

Not sure, maybe it was on the site: He specifically praised me for calling out that his next ad, after the ax ad, would be a logrolling one. I don't think I said that, but maybe a commenter or coblogger did.

At any rate, now that I know these guys have no idea I do the crazy Ewok stalking pictures, I feel liberated to do more of them. I had worried that it was upsetting people, because I forgot the first rule of blogging: No one knows who the hell bloggers are or what the hell they're writing.

Except you guys, of course, but you're morons.

I have a theory - that in states that traditionally go D overwhelmingly, like MA, the Dem fraud machine is pretty much untested. It is states that are split like WA and PA that they really have the ability to "find" votes at the last minute.

Just thinking but, prolly not so gracious going ahead and taking credit for the other bloggers work but hey, the moron code and all that.

New Headline Joke:

Sean Duffy:  Hey, man.  Great work with all you do on that blog of yours.  Good call on my next lumberjack ad.
Ace:  That...uh...that wasn't me.
Sean Duffy:  Oh.  Which blog is yours?
Ace:  The...er...one with the clever Stalker-Wicket pictures.

My 5yo daughter wants her own cell phone and credit card, already - can I blame PBS?

Yes, but only very quietly and only in the privacy of your own home, never on the phone or over the internet.

Otherwise it will simply be catalogued as yet another example of extreme right wing hatred, be used to show how the Tea parties are all violent and you'll get yourself classified as a right wing extremist by the department of homeland security.

But, on the upside if your last name begins with an R your file might end up next to mine

Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, The Great One Mark Levin, S.E. Cupp becoming a Christian, and Katy Perry's little sister. Call my show right now for tickets, they're going fast.

Rotfl.. well, I have several files and I already appear on a lot of lists. See I'm one of those hyper dangerous veteran's that Napolitano was trying to warn you about.  One of those hyper partisan right wing kooks who actually took an oath to defend the Constitution and gets a might peeved when people want to ignore it, or worse yet shred it.

Yes, I watch the dreaded Fox news, even though it's considered dangerous and subversive by the current regime.  Yes, I actually own a legally registered gun (two in fact).  I've been known to voice disent with the current regime on issues.. well, pretty much all of them really.  Sadly apparently I missed that small window of time in which disent was considered patriotic.

So I can't imagine you'd be on a list I'm not already on

118 Isn't ten points down kind of, like, you know, a LOT?  I hardly call that in striking distance.  What am I missing?

It entirely depends on the position of the candidate.  If you're an incumbent and you have a "ten point lead" that could either be good or deeply, deeply ominous, depending on where your numbers actually sit.  A "ten point lead" when you're sitting at 53-43 or somesuch is quite comfortable.  A "ten point lead" where it's more like 48-38 is little comfort at all -- the relevant number in that situation isn't the ten point gap, but rather that YOU are under 50% and HE has room to grow.

And if you're sitting UNDER the magic number 45%, even with that "ten point lead"...you're toast.  You've almost certainly already lost your race and are just playing out the string.  Because your opponent's 35% is suddenly going to become 52% when all the undecideds swing over to him, which is what happens when people are still undecided about whether an incumbent deserves reelection this close to the day.

THIS is why Bielat's numbers, if correct, are a sign of real competitiveness.  The gap is somewhat immaterial - Scott Brown showed just how quickly such 'gaps' can close, and he's not the first to do so (John Engler, anyone?).

Star Parker was one of the original KSFO talk show hosts when they went to the all conservative "Hot Talk" format along with Ken Hamblin and Michael Savage. They didn't have Limbaugh at that time. 136 And so too for Bielat.

All he has to do is run video over and over of Barney Frank at that 2003 hearing.

''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''

137 Donated to Sean Bielat and will be working as a volunteer!  I just answered a robo-poll a few minutes ago with questions on the Frank-Beilat race as well as general right way/wrong way, Obama and Pelosi questions.  I think we can expect an official poll release soon.  Oh, and they did ask about likelihood to vote, so it should be a "likely voter" survey.
