— Ace On a local TV station.
No, this isn't the radio interview at Hot Air. That's here.
The more interesting, red-meaty clip there is the second, where Barney Frank insists that the Tea Party does not want to compromise. Why, I never heard something so absurd! Okay, so maybe it's true, but fuck you anyway Barney.
Oh, and read Dick Morris, who is becoming even more forward leaning in his predictions.
If I'm reading between the lines right he's kinda-sorta predicting 72/11 which strangely enough is my prediction (and like me he's calling that his lowball, conservative, not-crazy-sounding prediction, but maybe it's not his real prediction, either, wink-wink).

Wowzers! Just saw Greta do a short stand up interview Lisa Moorekowski in Alalska and her closing quesiton was "Do you like Joe Miller?" The bitch paused, grimmaced and said "no, not what I know about him." I've never seen a candidate flat out say they don't like their opponent. You had to see it; this women is nasty.

Is he referring to the type of compromise that Harry Reid offered in his response to W's 2005 State of the Union address?
"Congratulations on your re-election Mr. President. Now you need to compromise with us."
That's almost verbatim, by the way. I've held a grudge against that Nevada cocksucker ever since.

He would be by default at this point. Obviously with a lot of new blood headed into the GOP caucus, a challenge could be mounted adding them to anyone dissatisfied with him in the current bunch. I think Pence is running in 2012 and blowing up the House leadership wouldn't be terribly helpful to that end and I can't think of anyone else in a position to challenge him.

Watch their body language. Bielat sits rock still, his pen held between his fingertips as he patiently waits for Frank to finish.
When Bielat is speaking, Frank squirms around, puts his finger in his air indicating he wants to interrupt, and stares daggers through Bielat.
You couldn't draw a more stark visual contrast between these two.
One of them is a real man--the kind of guy other men admire and respect.
The other is a fat, slobber-mouthed skeez who sucks the cocks of male prostitutes.

think Sean Hannity should make each of his guests take a guess at the number...the one they're too embarrassed or too humble to admit aloud, and place each guess in a sealed envelope. After the election he should have each one back to open their envelope and see how right (or wrong) they were in their predictions.

I wish Republicans promoted more long-shot candidates in every election, b/c I think that pressure causes the "wrong" politicians to vote the right way, at least some of the time.

You will always have people like Fwank who argue that we should go straight to the 9th level down. And, when you point out that we want to stay in the place that is even for everyone, Fwank whines, "you won't compromise."
And that's when the McCain comes in, pulling tight his lapels, saying, "I'll meet you half way, unlike those fanatics."
So here we are on the 5th circle of hell.
Another year goes by. Fwank argues, "you won't compromise."
We tell him to toss off.
The McCain comes in, pulling tight his lapels, saying, "I'll meet you half way, unlike those fanatics.

I think the way the British parties manage their up-and-comers would be a good model for the Repubs--many of their best young candidates get thrown to the wolves by running in can't-win constituencies. Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair both got trounced in their first parliamentary election, and they're the two most consequential PMs of the generation. They learn politicking and fighting for votes, even if they're a Republican running against Bobby Rush on the South Side.
Of course, I endorse the idea of randomizing the House makeup every other election cycle--if Barney Frank wants to get reelected, he has to run in Texas 3.

Traditional Marriage v. Gay Activism
Paladino supports gay rights and announced he'd hire gays in his administration, but that unlike Cuomo, he wouldn't take his young children to march in a gay rights parade, exposing the kids to overt sexual conduct in order to pander for votes, fundamentally because marriage is between a man and a woman. Gays indiscriminately fill that sentiment with "hatred" of their own as belonging to non-gays.
“We’re sending a message to young people that it’s okay to discriminate, it’s okay to commit violent acts, that it’s okay for gay kids to kill themselves and that’s not okay, particularly in a place in a country that supposedly values all of us,” said Jarrett Barrios of The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Apparently, heterosexuals could use their own PAC Alliance Against Defamation.

it's not a question of if TEA Partiers are willing to compromise, it's a question of where the baseline assumptions of any compromise are drawn.
it's the marxists who refuse to compromise, for the past 60 or 70 years every compromise offered by the Left is, at it's very core, an advancement of Progressivism.
That game IS going to end, that's what the TEA Party is - the end of the progressive shell game.
