The thing is, if you're a Christian, you kinda have to believe that faith in Christ is the only way to heaven. I mean, JC did make it pretty explicit.
In my opinion, a Christian is only "arrogant" about this belief if they use coersion to convert another human being to this belief. And by coersion, I mean using threats of hell, brimstone, and fire.
Most of the real Christians I know just try to walk with Christ and be a light to others. They don't waste time on condemnation or judgement because it's fruitless and pointless.

She was a Scandi and worshiped killer whales and human sacrifices and wouldn't do it so that was the end of the church for me. When I think back on it the priest might have been on to something.

And Delta Smelt, I've been on a ghost walk in Charleston that scared the living shit out of me. Seriously. It involves the Circular Church. Brrrrrr. Can't talk about it now, but photos of the place reveal some frightening stuff. Had a Yankee girlfriend and her kids from Chicago with me and my kid. Mid-day, I've never in my life felt as creeped out as I did by that "church". My friend felt the same exact way.

Our first halloween here, we went on a haunted Savannah walk that was actually pretty creepy. My lib sis, who is actually hilarious, provided sotto voce commentary throughout the walk. I was holding back tears a couple of times. But even she ended up freaked out a few times.

I don't read them. I just assume that any of the commenters here sockpuppetting an extreme liberal viewpoint for humor is doing a pretty accurate portrayal of what they are saying there. I think that's a good assumption to go with most of the time.
