Brad Ellsworth, Douchebag
— Ace

Blasting Dan Coates for having served as a lobbyist, then jetting off to Canada (Canada?) to meet with trial lawyer lobbyists.

1 The truth hurts!

2 I was on vacation that week. This happened -- apparently, it got very little publicity. And, you know, I just didn't know about it.

3 BO's dog code name is "Brad Ellsworth"?

I did not know this.  Sounds like a security leak.

4 I laugh every time I see one of these turds running against "special interests" and lobbyists.

6 O Canada, our home and sacred land. True Patriots love, our loonies can buy your senate man.

Or logs. Big, heavy, thick logs.

10 "5 Why does he have a caterpillar above his left eye?"

Maybe he's related to Tim Kaine, aka the "dancing eyebrow".  How do you tell a Democrat is lying?  An eyebrow raises.

11 I still say we should have bought a bigger truck.

12 I hate seeing a fellow sheriff get into trouble like this.

This is a big f*cking deal.

13 O/T how worried do I need to be about Harry Reid?

14 How do you tell a Democrat is lying?  An eyebrow raises.

It's interesting, the "tells" politicians have.

When McCain is about to say something he knows conservatives won't like, he prefaces it with "my friends."

When Obama is talking about a particularly effective critic, he scratches his temple with his middle finger.

When Biden says something even HE knows is stupidly outrageous, he gives us a flash of those chicklet-like teeth.

Fluoride. Oh we're running with it, baby!

16 Democrats never acknowledge groups that influence them or support them as a "special interest".  When they talk about special interests they mean those big bad profit-making industries, usually described as "Big", as in Big Oil, and Big Pharmaceutical.  You will never hear their own groups described as Big Teacher or Big Environmental.  No, you see, their influences are kind, generous groups only looking out for the common good, and thus do not qualify as a "special interest".

17 Awesome ads like this make me feel funny like when I'd climb the rope in gym class.

18 17 They also see christians, parents, and taxpayers as "special interests."

19 It is rather amusing to watch the Democrats in Indiana run on Tea Party themes this year. They are for family values and against Washington and against special interests. And they prefer not to mention their political  party in their ads. I bet none of them will be inviting Obama in to campaign for them.

21 Coats is up by 21 points!

Ellsworth.. what a dope.

Posted by: Timbo at July 19, 2010 08:49 AM (ph9vn)

22 Remember, Ellsworth is one of the members of the Stupak bloc who was only too happy to sell out his "deep pro-life" beliefs when Nancy Pelosi snapped her fingers:

Best to retire him entirely.

23 Yeah, but Coates is practically Indiana's Hillary Clinton (he's lived out of state since his Senate term expired). He's THOROUGHLY D.C. establishment. If elected, he'll be one guy Trent Lott won't have to worry about co-opting.
