Layoffs to gut East St. Louis police force

EAST ST. LOUIS • The Rev. Joseph Tracy said he’s tired of going to funerals. And now, he suspects he’ll be going to more of them.

"ItÂ’s open field day now," said Tracy, the pastor of Straightway Baptist Church here. "The criminals are going to run wild."

St. Louis Mayor Alvin Parks announced that the city will layoff 37 employees, including 19 of its 62 police officers, 11 firefighters, four public works employees, and three administrators. The layoffs take effect on Sunday.

East Saint has one of the highest violent crime rates in the country and they are going to lay off 30% of their police and a bunch of the fire fighters as well.  Try as I might I could not locate the political affiliation of Mayor Parks, but here is a hint; E. St. Louis voted over 99% for Obama. In fact, in the 2004 Senate elections the Green Party got twice as many votes as the Republican.  Even his biographical information page on the city website does not give his party affiliation, but I would say there is a 99% probability that he is a Communist-Democrap.

And they are doing what they always do when faced with budget problems. First call for tax increases and then lay off police and fire fighters. Only this time they are running into problems with the Unions. Now ainÂ’t that some irony there, the socialists are pitting the unions against the commies.  

No mention of any proposals what-so-ever of cutting any of the socialist programs that are real money eaters in the budget. That is what keeps getting those commies elected.

This is one more slightly smaller version of Detroit and it amply demonstrates the utter failure of black socialist political theory in urban America. We can broadcast this lesson to the world here at AOS, but the only blacks it will reach are the ones who already know this (or they wouldnÂ’t be here at AOS).  This is where the MFM comes into play and why they piss me off so bad. They could be getting this word out, but they too are 98% socialist so if they do talk about these problems it will only be in the context of “why the rest of the U.S. taxpayers should be bailing out E. St. Louis”.

Well, we are doomed. The MFM has rendered the first amendment and freedom of the press immaterial. When the press uniformly chooses the wrong side there is no “freedom”.

Yes, Castle, whos been eyeing this seat for YEARS, waiting, whos enjoyed his status as a Rino for just as long, is going to run just to abandon his seat.

Thankfully Delaware voters arent idiots and arent going to back Christie O Connell whos only line of running has been to attack castle- Republican on Republican instead of attacking the Dem (Coons) or the national Dems.

With friends like EE at the helm, we dont need gaffes or opposition $ to kill off the wave. We just need aluminum foil.

My beef though isnt with the pursuit of someone to the right of Castle (Mao would fit that bill in some respects)
