Charlie Crist's Sillyarmed Opening Pitch
— Ace

I don't know why these guys put themselves out there like that.

Especially guys like Crist.

About That Last Story: I've been cautioned to let this story go until those who got the story together are ready to run with it.

So, I put it into draft.

38 This video unfortunately may have deadly consequences for conservatives in November. Conservatism is supposed to be a rugged, manly ideology, and that pitch was anything but. I will not be voting for Mr. Christie this year. And I am sure that no one else will.

Posted by: Average Joe at October 07, 2010 03:05 PM (H/3pd)

39 Wow, I for one was struck by the sheer force and power of that pitch.  It certainly could have taken someone's head off, so good thing it was a little inside.  It's definitely what I would call a brushback pitch.  Charlie Crist isn't afraid to throw hard and inside and it's for that reason I will be staying home on election night instead of voting for the Republicans like I have in every election since Eisenhower.

Pakistan's spy agency, the ISI, has a lot to gain from the Taliban continuing their war against NATO.  As long as the war goes on, Pakistan gets military aid.  And when NATO's member nations finally become exhausted and leave Afghanistan, the ISI can use the Taliban as puppets to take over Afghanistan and run the place.

Same reason the ISI arms terrorists and guerillas to fight in Kashmir and to attack inside India.  Peace would be a disaster for the ISI: less power, less prestige, fewer opportunities for corruption.

Pakistan ISI does NOT want an independent Free Afganistan... as parts of the Territories Tribes are more aligned with Afganistan, than with the central Government....

89 It used to be that Presidents would toss the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day of the season in Washington, and also at the World Series. He would be sitting in a box seat in the front row and toss the ball to a catcher standing in front of him. It was a simple, dignified ceremony. No athletic ability was required or expected. (Yes, I know that traditionally the Cincinnati Reds would play the first game of the season, but the President would usually be in Washington for that team's home opener.) But nowadays every celebrity who throws a "first pitch" is expected to do it from the pitcher's mound. I don't know when that started, but I daresay most of us would embarrass ourselves in that situation.

I don't throw like a girl because I had big brothers and they yelled and taunted and fixed so that I didn't throw like a girl. My follow-through isn't as good as it was before I grew the boobs but still better than President Hand-to-hand or Orangeman.

My ex-lib mother in law just called to say she's voting for Palladino and that Obama is gay. Soooo much better than the Algore is a prince era.

107 The catcher called for a pitchout. C'mon, you haters!

108 (I loves me some Bob Uecker. He's the only reason to re-watch Major League. Without him, it's a middling baseball flick. With him, it's a bona fide classic.)

My friend.

May I cordially suggest that you stick to Sunday morning book threads while the rest of us enjoy down and dirty baseball flicks?

Major League is a classic. Bad News Bears is effing awesome.

I know you know better, just saying.

The catcher called for a pitchout.

Afraid to go look at Urban Dictionary to see what this means in the alternate culture.  NTTAWWT.

119 What a crap weasel! Any America male who throws like that should be castrated so as not to pass on the girlie throwing gene to anyone else. Although I know a lot of girls can throw much better so I don't know what to call that abomination.

I can throw better than that.

FOUR!
