Confused About The State of Play for the 2010 Midterms?
— Maetenloch

Yeah me too. For those of us without Barone-like political knowledge of every Congressional district it gets hard to keep track of each race or the national situation. Luckily Google has an Election 2010 widget that lets you see the state of the political landscape at a glance based on the top predictors in politics - Sabato, Cook, Rothenberg, CQ-Roll Call, and RealClearPolitics.

Just click on a race, state, and source to see what each group is saying. Of course these are based on polls and other data so they're probably slightly lagging indicators of the true state. But as pollsters switch completely over to likely voter models you should start seeing the ratings converge towards the likely actual results.

1 Well, at least I have the comfort of knowing that my Congressional district is only "likely Democrat", not "safe Democrat."

Ready for another chapter in Republican Shit-headery?

In MA, there's a 3-way race for governor. The ( I ) is a former (D), and he's the straw candidate who's helping Deval Patrick win.

The ( I ) is running as a conservative-moderate who is "fed up with both parties." He goes out and hires two assholes from the McCain '08 campaign. These two assholes quit the campaign two weeks ago because their ( I ) client is polling in the single digits.

Here comes the shit-headery.

The two assholes emailed each other using the campaign's email accounts. In these emails were communications on how they were planning to quit the campaign and give information to the (R) candidate.

Polls are rigged in favor of conservatives, and real American's should discount any data suggesting they will triumph over our amazingly popular liberal agenda of health care for all, abortions on demand paid for by government, and food stamps for the suffering millions who were denied jobs by greedy conservative business owners.

If conservatives do take the House and possibly the Senate, the questions remains, will they have the balls to get in the dirt with the liberals or will they continue their practice of going along to get along?

If they continues with this theme till '12, we're obligated to bounce every one of the assholes out to include Hatch, Snowe, and Grahamnesty to new a few.

Conservatives, fix bayonets!

48 We lived on the banks of the Tennessee River, and we owned the summers when we were girls. We ran wild through humid summer days that never ended but only melted one into the other. We floated down rivers of weekdays with no school, no rules , no parents, and no constructs other than our fantasies. We were good girls, my sister and I. We had nothing to rebel against. This was just life as we knew it, and we knew the summers to be long and to be ours.
