— DrewM Congressman Alan Grayson is a well known jackass. He goes well above the normal amount of jackassery one would expect from your average Democrat and regular Keith Olbermann guest.
His recent ad attacking his Republican opponent explores new depths in dishonesty, again, even above that of your normal Democrat. Grayson compares challenger Daniel Webster to an Islamic fanatic in his views on women.
Well, Caleb Howe at Red State has the video of the speech from which those Webster clips were taken. Not only does Grayson's ad take those soundbites out of context, it actually reverses the context entirely.
Grayson is a disgrace and he's flat out lied to the voters of his district. This clown needs to go down and go down hard. Here's Daniel Webster's website.
Thanks to Baseball Crank for the heads up.

Left-wing democrats across the nation are hitting the desperation point.
It's a common theme. Michael Bennet(D-CO)...( voted for the Obama/Pelosi/Reid extreme left-wing agenda 98% of the time) is running similar ads.
Republicans are going to rape you and take away all of your reproductive rights just like the Taliban!
I smell desperation.

Hot air has a poll with McMahon down by 3 in CT.
Also a poll showing Manchin down in WV. The RNC needs to find every clip of Manchin with Obama or talking about Obama and put it in a commerical. The hatred of Obama in WV is palpable.
Doesn't Grayson represent a R+ district? he can't win again can he?

So much has been said about this dishonest gasbag but I'll ad my own brief experience.
Last March, the weekend healthscare passed, this fool was trying to stir up shit in the middle of the tea party rally. Getting in arguments and everything. He was as bombastic and clownish as he is on TV.
The guy is mentally imbalanced, it's not a schick. No one was filming him or anything, he had no reason to be out there. Just trying to stir up trouble, milling around in the middle of a giant crowd.
Not a single Dim besides him did this to my knowledge. Even Lewis had a purpose walking through the crowd with a camera.

Grayson also is running an ad which says Webster is a draft dodger...literally says draft dodger. In fact Webster reported to his physical the day after he graduated from college. He was medically unable to be drafted.
he was also in the ROTC. The VFW or some other veterans group is real pissed at Grayson because he uses their imagine in his commericials, when they clearly don't endorse him.
Did Grayson serve in the military? Something tell me he was involved in those experiments where the army gave soldiers LSD everyday

This latest Grayson piece is particularly distressing to me because Dan is a friend of my boyfriend and is an utterly decent guy. And his wife? One of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She doesn't deserve to have her husband wrongly maligned like this. Webster is such a good guy that the guy who came in second to him in the primary didn't just endorse him but is actively supporting him, walking precincts, etc.
This is really personal now.
Weew ... did you go to the Spending Revolt rally in Titusville last week? Are you working on Sandy Adams's campaign?

MANCHIN 46%
RAESE 48%
CONFIRMED- WV now weakly lean GOP.
This and CT has moved into true tossup status today, and Rossi now only trails Murray by 1 in the new Rasmussen poll.
I think Raese can win in WV.
A lot of West Virginians really hate Obama, and not just for policy reasons if you get my drift.
It's not some random coincidence that the State overwhelmingly votes democrat, had two democratic senators, a democratic governor, but McCain got 56% to Obama's 43%.

Grayson on Alex Jones' radio show:
“Here I am, the only member of Congress who actually worked as an economist. And she’s, this lobbyist, this K Street whore, is trying to teach me about economics.”
Grayson on Dylan Ratigan's show:
“Well, I have the benefit of working as an economist for 4 years before I was elected to Congress, and that does give me insight into how all this works.”
Fact check:
Doren called GraysonÂ’s offce to find out the truth. The person Doren spoke with over the phone said three times that he definitely is not an economist. He definitely did not work as an economist. He is a lawyer. Doren asked about his Wikipedia page that said he worked as an economist for 2 years.
The person Doren spoke with, said the Wikipedia page is not true, he never worked as an economist.
His staff member specifically said Grayson would NEVER say he worked as an economist because it is not true.

Ben
The "hardening of Dems" was a fucking myth last week, and these polls show it.
Kirk has been HAMMERED by $2 million in ads this past week- and he still leads by roughly the same tiny 2-3 points.
WV is slight lean republican.
Washington is drifting back into tossup.
Connecticut is now truly a tossup (which i have said it was all along)
NY-B besides that bs siena poll is a tossup.
Colorado weakly but still trending GOP.
PA,IN,AR,ND,WI all comfortably GOP.
Russ Feingold is AVOIDING Obama today, at the major rally at U of W. He is fucking radioactive in the midwest.
Yeah, here in PA we've had non stop Sestak and Onorato(gov candidate) ads.
Onorato is screwed, because the Republican Candidate, Corbett, is a Christie like republican. He is a popular AG who has busted all sorts of corrupt politicians. Also Ed Rendell is greatly disliked which hurts Onorato.
Sestak's ads have closed the gap a bit. I think Toomey will win by 4 points, but it won't be the blowout it appears to be right now. The unions always get their men to turn out.

Republicans should consider a joint reply, explaining the common theme and leading with this Grayson ad.
It would then be harder for any individual scam slam to get traction and would expose the Democrats lack of anything else to run on.
This could preempt further attacks that they are sure to try.

via DrudgeReport:
A gunman who fired several shots in the Perry-Castaneda Library on the UT campus is dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and police are looking for a possible second suspect, officials say.
Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo confirmed that the shooter is dead, but UT continues to be locked down, and people are urged to stay out of the area.
Officials say it appears there are no other injuries. UT spokeswoman Rhonda Weldon said witnesses had reported that the man was armed with automatic weapon.
“The shooter is dead on the sixth floor of Perry-Castaneda Library, said Don Hale, a UT spokesman. “No identification. Apparently took his own life.”
“We don’t have any report of anybody getting shot at this point,” Hale said.

Speaking of political ads, I'm glad that Bill White in TX finally decided to let some of his inner liberal shine through.
He's running an ad now where he points out all of these EVIL PERRY-AFFILIATED CRONIES who now apparently get rich off of medical insurance and the blood of virgins, but mostly medical insurance. He contrasts himself as "on my side" by claiming that, when elected governor, he will require that medical insurance companies justify any rate hikes and seek his approval first.
Insurance Company: Hey Bill, we're gonna need to raise premiums.
Bill White: WHAT? Inconceivable! Why?
Insurance Company: Well, seeing as how you made it a point to be in the complete opposite corner of the state whenever he was around, this may come as a shock to you, but...the President, you know, a Democrat, he passed this healthcare bill that's basically going to run all of us into the red unless we raise rates.
Bill White: Figure out a way to blame it on Teh Ebil Perry, and call me back.

When Democrats make the decision to let go of the 2 top races in Pennsylvania and focus on saving the congressional ones, Sestak will lose by about 7-8.
The GOP had the governor's office in the bag because 1) Dems & the GOP have been trading the office every eight years for about the last 40 years, and 2) Rendell sucks and people are tired of him and the Democrats.
The Dems are rumored to have let Kanjorski twist in the wind -- no party funding or support. He's behind in the polls. The one tight race is Carney -- his internals show him up by eight but all other polls show him trailing by at least four. He's running lots of negative ads and may very well win. If he does the GOP will beat him in 2012 unless they run a terrible candidate. That's their problem this year.

If I'm remembering what little I know about the subject correctly, Yiddish sort of "sprang up" and never had a formal orthography. It evolved as it went along, and is primarily a spoken language.
What little Yiddish I can speak -- mostly individual words and hoary aphorisms passed down from a variety of Jewish Grandmothers -- doesn't make it possible for me to read it.
Even Rosten -- a real mensch -- knew he couldn't write the definitive treatise on Yiddish. No one can. That's one of the things that makes it such a cool language.
