— Ace Bumped. And also check out Neo-Neocon ginning up a MoneyBomb and Sissy Willis' interview with Bielat.
Here, Bielat says he's no Scott Brown, in the sense that he's more conservative.
Sean: It's great that Sen. Brown won the Fourth District. It means that people in the Fourth aren't afraid to support Republicans and that there is a significant number of people out there who are fed up with entrenched politicians who support policies that have a lasting negative effect on our families. But I'm not Scott Brown and we're running our own campaign. For example, I would not have supported the Dodd-Frank Financial Regulation Bill. It's not difficult to find people in and out of state who would like to see Barney Frank head for early retirement. He has been central to many of the problems that caused and exacerbated the economic collapse. We're getting that message far and wide and have been successful attracting volunteers and financial support. We're going to continue to reach out to people seven days a week through social media, mainstream media, events, door-to-door, mail and phone calls.
...
Bielat's running against Barney Frank. Lost cause? Well, he's just about as great a candidate as you could hope for, and Barney Frank's district actually voted for Brown over Coakley. (BTW: That link takes you to his homepage, where you'll see him on Hannity's Great American Panel sitting next to none other than Pat Caddell. It's a wonder there were any survivors.)
But here's the thing: You can't not elect this guy. Check out his bio:
Major, U.S Marine Corps ReserveIndependent Consultant. Helped client companies build market strategies
Program Manager, iRobot Corporation. Led $100 million, 100 person business line providing life-saving defense robots used to destroy roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan
Chairman, NATO Industrial Armaments Group. Led an international team studying the potential for use of advanced reconnaissance technology in urban warfare
Management Consultant, Mckinsey & Company
Lieutenant, U.S. Marine Corps (active duty)
Sean Bielat For Congress
When he's not killing terrorists, he's building fuckin' robots.
Ads: Pretty good.
An Anti-Frank Ad:
And a bio ad. Soft, but lets you know who he is.

If not that, at least the Repo Code.

"When you're in the big game and you have three receivers, you have to throw the ball to each of them to, uhhhh, win the, uhhhhhhh, game. So if I'm a coach and this is the game, the three receivers are the will of the people and you need to do what the people want or I won't support you. Marsha Coakley" #10 - Actually, we had 2 write-in candidates for the Republican ballot to run against Marsha, Marsha, Marsha. They needed 10,000 write-ins to qualify!!! James McKenna succeeded with over 27,000 and will be on the ballot in November against Coakley. I believe this is the first time a write-in has succeeded for a state-wide race in MA. I heard this morning that the second write-in, Guy Carbone, got 9,500. Repubs here REALLY wanted to run somebody against her.
I know and thank goodness but WTF happened that they had to go all "write-in candidate mode".
I like Seah cuz he spells his first name properly and Bwaney must be shittin bricks to bring Jefferson Clinton in. Even Willie has lost a little of his shine around here. As that woman at the meeting with Obama said - they (libs) are exhausted from defending him and his shitty ideas.

It is possible to hold strong positions but to speak with a moderate voice. Ronald Reagan had a clear and strongly held ideology that could have been extremely divisive. Instead, he spoke with moderation, behaved with dignity, and worked with leaders of both parties. The result was that Reagan, a giant of conservatism, won 49 of 50 states in his 1984 re-election. Columnists George Will and Peggy Noonan speak with a similar voice. They focus on reason, intelligence, and principle, rather than vitriol, bombast, and partisanship.
Governing from the middle requires engaging with all reasonable
ideas, applying those ideas to core principles, and reaching
solutions—without resorting to empty partisan rhetoric.
ItÂ’s time to stop bickering and start governing.
Can you hear it. Listen. Listen. Listen.... RINO!!! Get the RINO!!! Run real fighting conservatives in Blue states!!! Blah, blah, blah. With respect to tone, he sounds like Scott Brown.
I'm from the MA-4. Sean is great, but there will be those clueless souls who will try to drive him out of the GOP soon enough for not being "true" enough.
Fall River and New Bedford are deeply rooted. Brookline is very liberal. Tough, tough, tough district for a conservative and a newbie. Biggest problem might not be what he stands for, but that he is an "outsider"
He should learn Portuguese, quick.
